AND Annex 1( a) or 1 (b) or 1 (c) or 1 (d) (b) in a pest-free area, established by the national plant protection organisation in the country of origin in accordance with relevant International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures. The name of the pest-free area shall be mentioned under the rubric place of origin ; or (c) where all lots of specified plants have been tested and found free from Potato spindle tuber viroid, prior to movement; or (d) where all associated mother plants of the specified plants have been tested and found free from Potato spindle tuber viroid, prior to movement of the specified plants. After testing, the growing conditions are such that associated mother plants and the specified plants will remain free from Potato spindle tuber viroid prior to movement. (b) Medicago sativa Third countries Annex IV A I, 49.1.(a) or Annex IV A I, 49.1.(b) Third countries where Clavibacter michiganensis ssp. insidiosus Davis et al. is known to occur Annex IV A I, (b), first indent or Annex IV A I, (b), second indent or Annex IV A I, (b), third indent to be free from Plasmopara halstedii or (b) The seeds, other than those seeds that have been produced on varieties resistant to all races of Plasmopara halstedii present in the area of production, have been subjected to an appropriate treatment against Plasmopara halstedii (a) No symptoms of Ditylenchus dipsaci have been observed at the place of production since the beginning of the last complete cycle of vegetation and no Ditylenchus dipsaci has been revealed by laboratory tests on a representative sample or (b) Fumigation has taken place prior to export. Without prejudice to the requirements applicable to plants listed in Annex IV(A)(I) (49.1), official statement that: (a) Clavibacter michiganensis ssp. insidiosus Davis et al. has not been known to occur on the farm or in the immediate vicinity since the beginning of the past 10 years; (b) either 2000L0029 EN B Plants, plant products and other objects Special requirements Ditylenchus dipsaci Clavibacter michiganensis ssp. insidiosus 2

3 the crop belongs to a variety recognised as being highly resistant to Clavibacter michiganensis ssp. insidiosus Davis et al., or it had not yet started its fourth complete cycle of vegetation from sowing when the seed was harvested and there was not more than one preceding seed harvest from the crop, or the content of inert matter which has been determined in accordance with the rules applicable for the certification of seed marketed in the Community, does not exceed 0,1 % by weight; (c) no symptoms of Clavibacter michiganensis ssp. insidiosus Davis et al. have been observed at the place of production, or on any Medicago sativa L. crop adjacent to it, during the last complete cycle of vegetation or, where appropriate, the last two cycles of vegetation; (d) the crop has been grown on land on which no previous Medicago sativa L. crop has been present during the last three years prior to sowing. Oryza sativa Third countries Annex IV A I, 50. (a) or (a) The seeds have been officially tested Aphelenchoides 3

(b) Pinus Third countries Decision 2007/433/EC Annex 1 (a) or (b) or (c) by appropriate nematological tests and have been found free from Aphelenchoides besseyi or (b) The seeds have been subjected to an appropriate hot water treatment or other appropriate treatment against Aphelenchoides besseyi. (a) The seeds originate in areas known to be free from Xanthomonas campestris pv. phaseoli or (b) A representative sample of the seeds has been tested and found free from Xanthomonas campestris pv. phaseoli in these tests. Without prejudice to the provisions listed in Annex III, Part A(1), Annex IV, Part A(I)(8.1), (8.2), (9), (10) and Annex IV, Part B(7), (8), (9), (10), (11), (12), (16) and (17) to Directive 2000/29/EC, the specified plants originating in third countries shall be accompanied by a certificate as referred to in Article 13(1) of Directive 2000/29/EC which states under the rubric Additional declaration that the specified plants originate in a place of production which is registered and supervised by the national plant protection organisation in the country of origin, and (a) they have been grown throughout besseyi. Xanthomonas campestris pv. phaseoli Gibberella circinata 4

5 Prunus countries where Tomato ringspot virus is known to occur on Prunus Annex IV A I, (a), first indent or Annex IV A I, (a), second indent their life in countries where Gibberella circinata is not known to occur; or (b) they have been grown throughout their life in a pest-free area, established by the national plant protection organisation in the country of origin in accordance with relevant International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures. The name of the pest-free area shall be mentioned under the rubric place of origin ; or (c) they originate in a place of production where no signs of Gibberella circinata have been observed during official inspections within a period of two years prior to export and have been tested immediately prior to export. - The plants have been officially certified under a certification scheme requiring them to be derived in direct line from material which has been maintained under appropriate conditions and subjected to official testing for at least Tomato ringspot virus and has been found free, in these tests, from Tomato ringspot virus or - The plants have been derived in direct line from material which is maintained under appropriate conditions and has been subjected, within the last three complete cycles of Tomato ringspot virus 5

7 Rubus Third countries where Tomato ringspot virus, Black raspberry latent virus, Cherry leaf roll virus and Prunus necrotic ringspot virus are known to occur on Rubus Annex IV A I, 24.(b) (aa), first indent or Annex IV A I, 24.(b) (aa), second indent origin ; or (c) they originate in a place of production where no signs of Gibberella circinata have been observed during official inspections within a period of two years prior to export and have been tested immediately prior to export. - The plants have been officially certified under a certification scheme requiring them to be derived in direct line from material which has been maintained under appropriate conditions and subjected to official testing for at least Tomato ringspot virus, Black raspberry latent virus, Cherry leaf roll virus and Prunus necrotic ringspot virus and has been found free, in these tests, from those harmful organisms or - The plants have been derived in direct line from material which is maintained under appropriate conditions and has been subjected, within the last three complete cycles of vegetation, at least once, to official testing for at least Tomato ringspot virus, Black raspberry latent virus, Cherry leaf roll virus and Prunus necrotic ringspot virus and has been found free, in these tests, from those harmful Tomato ringspot virus, Black raspberry latent virus, Cherry leaf roll virus and Prunus necrotic ringspot virus 7

(a) in countries where Potato spindle tuber viroid is known not to occur; or (b) in a pest-free area, established by the national plant protection organisation in the country of origin in accordance with relevant International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures. The name of the pest-free area shall be mentioned under the rubric place of origin ; or (c) where all lots of specified plants have been tested and found free from Potato spindle tuber viroid, prior to movement; or (d) where all associated mother plants of the specified plants have been tested and found free from Potato spindle tuber viroid, prior to movement of the specified plants. After testing, the growing conditions are such that associated mother plants and the specified plants will remain free from Potato spindle tuber viroid prior to movement (a) The seeds originate in areas known to be free from Erwinia stewartii or (b) A representative sample of the seeds has been tested and found free from Erwinia stewartii in this test.
