1 General Introduction of 2018 China (Henan) Industrial and Commercial Enterprises Cross-border Investment and Trade Event In order to open a window to the world, to boost Henan local enterprises going global, to make foreign merchants experience the time-honored history and profound culture of Henan, 2018 China (Henan) Industrial and Commercial Enterprises Cross-border Investment and Trade Event is scheduled to be held in Zhengzhou International Exhibition Center on 17th April, This great event shall serve as a bridge to contribute to the interaction between foreign and domestic enterprises and to realize the goal of rising of the Central Plains. Through granting more preferential stimulus on investment and trade by the People s Government of Henan Province, coupled with many advantageous industries of Henan in equipment manufacturing, new resources and materials, modern agriculture, food processing, E-commerce, tourism, this event aims to attract more overseas enterprises to invest and develop in Henan. I. Theme During the event, Bank of China will build a bridge for investment, technology exchange and trade cooperation between domestic and foreign enterprises relying on its global management mode, provide financial

2 services and support in all aspects and boost the interconnectivity for domestic and international enterprises. This event will coincide with the 12th China (Henan) International Investment & Trade Fair, which is approved by the State Council of the People s Republic of China and has been successfully organized for 11 sessions. The China (Henan) International Investment & Trade Fair has been a globally-influential contributor for international investment and trade and an important platform for opening-up and undertaking industrial transfer. The People s Government of Henan Province will also adopt positive investment policies to provide domestic and overseas businesses with privileges and convenience. II. Profile of Henan Province Located in the mid-east of China and middle-lower reaches of the Yellow River, Henan is the main birthplace of Chinese nation and Huaxia Civilization. Holding the junction position between coastal open areas and mid-west regions, Henan plays a crucial role in the progressive economic development from east to west. The whole province has a total area of 167,000 km2, taking up 1.73% of total territory of China. Henan, as essential province for economic development, in 2017 the GDP of Henan province has reached 4.3 trillion RMB, contributing to the fifth nation wide, ranking the first in middle-west region.

3 Long history, profound culture Henan is the birthplace of Emperor Xuanyuan, the ancestor of Chinese ethnic people and is also the cradle of Chinese nation and Huaxia Civilization. Among the 300 most used surnames nationwide, 171 are rooted in Henan; among the top 100, 78 are originated from Henan. Over 5,000 years of recorded history, Henan has been the country's political, economic and cultural center for up to 3,000 years; and a total of more than 20 dynasties established their capitals here. It is said, Henan people constitute over a half of celebrities in China. Picturesque scenery, abundant resources Henan has a diverse landscape with floodplains in the east and mountains in the west. Taihang Mountain, Funiu Mountain, Tongbai Mountain and Dabie Mountain embrace Henan from the north, west and south respectively like an outstretched arm. Mount Song, as one of the China s five famous mountains, is a sacred place for Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism gathering. With Huaihe River, Yangtze River, Yellow River and Haihe River partly flowing through the province, Henan enjoys abundant tourism resources with multiple historical sites and cultural relics. Up to 2017, Henan has 6 sections and 25 sites of world cultural heritages. There are 358 national major historical and cultural sites and 13 national AAAAA tourism sites in Henan province.

4 Modern agriculture, breadbasket of China As the majority part of Henan is located in the warm temperate zone, yields in grain, cotton, oil and other major agricultural products have ranked the top in China. For the past few years, Henan has actively fostered new agriculture operating entities; the agricultural industrial cluster has gained rapid development, with high-standard farmlands accounting for over 50%, crops planting and harvesting mechanization exceeding 79% and contribution of technological progress reaching 65%. Annually, Henan is the home to more than 1/10 of grains in China. In 2016, Henan posted million tons in grain output, and was thus recognized as the country s core grain production area. Equipment manufacturing, craftsmanship spirit Over the past years, Henan has gained much momentum in economic growth and industrial restructuring; Zhengluoxin (Zhengzhou-Luoyang-Xinxiang) Self-dependent Innovation Demonstration Area has been upgraded to a national strategic development project; the Central Plains Economic Zone and Henan Free Trade Zone have entered the fast track of development. Now the equipment manufacturing has become the leading industry in Henan province with the national top industry scale. Now Henan has formed leading industrial system covering engineering machinery, shield machinery, agricultural machinery, mining machinery, etc. Based

5 on these advantages, a flood of enterprises including YTO Group, CITIC Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., XJ Group, China Railway Engineering Equipment Group, Yutong Group, Luoyang LYC and Anyang Xinsheng Machine Tool Co., Ltd. have developed into industry leaders in China. Heartland of central plains, transportation hub Henan enjoys convenient transportation. Holding the central position of China, it serves as an important transport hub connecting the east to the west, and the south to the north. On December 2016, Zhengzhou has been approved by the state as national central city. Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone is the one and only national airport economy zone. As Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone accelerates construction, the linkage transportation capacity of aviation, railways, highways, waterways and pipelines is further enhanced. All these advantages have made it an important node in the country's One Belt, One Road Initiative, the West-to-East Gas Pipeline Project, the South-to-North Water Diversion Project and the North-to-South Coal Transport Project. VII. Costs Costs for conference affairs, accommodation, food and beverage incurred by overseas clients and entourage during the event will all be
