Overview To promote China s Central Document No.1 (an annual report from the central government of The People s Republic of China that have been focusing on the agricultural industry for 13 consecutive years), and to develop the infrastructure for easier trading, better services, and overall improvement of the modern agricultural industry. The Chinese Association For The Promotion Of International Agricultural Cooperation (CAPIAC) and the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering (CIGR) are co-hosting the 2017 China Beijing International High Quality Agricultural Products Fair (BAPF) (contracted to Shixin & Lamp Exhibition) on the 22 nd to the 24 th of April 2017, at China International Exhibition Center located in Beijing. This exhibition aims to provide a platform to encourage communication, collaboration, and promote quality agricultural products of various regions from China. It is a new platform to promote these products domestically and internationally, and an opportunity for our farmers to network and showcase their finest products. Moreover, CAPIAC have appointed Sino Cross Capital Management and Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE) as the cohosts of the Australian Pavilion, to specifically assist any Australian organizations that may be interested in participating. This year s exhibition will be focusing on improving the logistical structure of the industry, and protecting the rights and interests of the stakeholders of The Three Rural Issues (San Nong). Following the country s reform of the organization and structure of the agricultural industry, and the change in the Chinese consumer behavior, as well as the overall development in the logistical infrastructure of China in recent years. This exhibition will be the bridge between the wholesalers, distributors, authorized dealers, and buyers of high quality agricultural products domestically and internationally. During the exhibition, there will be events for new product launches, brand promotions, and forums for the industry. In addition, this year would be the first time for the BAPF to dedicate an area of the exhibition hall for quality Australian agricultural products. With the emphasis on the international aspect of the fair, our goal is to promote and showcase the potential of industry cooperation internationally. We would like to hereby sincerely invite and welcome friends from around the world to come and join, support, and enjoy the 2017 China Beijing International High Quality Agricultural Products Fair. 2. Review of the 2016 BAPF The last China Beijing International High Quality Agricultural Products Fair was successfully

3 held in April, 2016, and received support from enterprises all over the country in the circumstance that all provinces and cities governments were highly focused on the three rural issues: agriculture, rural areas & farmers and on innovating circulation method of agricultural products. Beijing, Inner Mongolia, Guangdong and more than 30 other provinces and cities domestically attended the fair in luxury lineups, taking up to 25,000 square meters in the exhibition. Fujian Exhibitors Group even reached an area of 2,800 square meters and Inner Mongolia Exhibitors Group had 1,000 square meters of booth space. In total, more than 800 leading enterprises and corporations attended and 40,000 visitors participated the exhibition. The live intention agreement amount was more than 1.2 billion RMB relative to the agricultural products projects. To promote the efficient docking to the parts of suppliers and buyers, the BAPF 2016 concurrently held the Provinces and Cities High Quality Agricultural Products Promoting Fair in Beijing. Fujian, Inner Mongolia, Shenyang, Yulin and other exhibitors groups recommended high quality agricultural products to more than 500 agricultural by-products processors, agents, electronic commercial enterprises form all over the country, the major agricultural wholesale markets, supermarkets, hotels, China Hotel Purchasing and Supplying Association and China Catering Enterprises Alliance and signed. During one of the concurrent activities, 186 enterprises from Shenyang have signed 10 contracts, selling 200 thousand tons worth of Shenyang Hanfu apples. Such proud result is exactly what the BAPF expected. The BAPF positively integrated various resources, online publicity and offline advertisement to build an omni-directional and three-dimensional popularizing system. The offline advertisement covers metros, public transportation communities and many other vital communication lines and crowded areas. The online media publicity covers ChinaDaily, Farmers.com, ChinaReport, XinhuaNews, IFeng, People.cn, China.com, Huicong, SOHU and other more than 200 mainstream medias.
