6 Our BIM workshop teaches organizational business teams how to study their processes, determine reliability of the process, and categorize the losses for a top-down view, identifying problems using advanced reliability analytic tools we call the Dollarized Pareto. The training course uses Monte Carlo simulations in Excel spreadsheets to simulate failures expected each year and shows how to cost the results over the life of the equipment or project. Reliability Cultural Management (RCM) is our holistic approach to integrating the behaviors of people, the competency, and knowledge-base of procedures with the effectiveness of technology best practices to drive sustainable reliability improvements. 8 Our RCM pillar provides interactive training to improve failure root cause analysis (RCA) and to enhance predictive excellence. We have collaborated with our preferred partner, Near-Miss Management, to integrate their Smart Technologies for Process and Equipment Variable Performance. It includes computer hardware and software tools that address continuously recording sensor measurements that generate millions of data points every day. The software provides: Large-scale machine learning and risk management Critical process and equipment hidden near-miss identification Seamless data source historian and connectivity with no new IT infrastructure setups required for the installation Our RCM workshop teaches and organizations operational teams, primarily reliability engineers, in the fundamentals of improving reliability. It covers the fundamentals of how to use a commercially available Weibull software package to rapidly solve complex reliability problems by way of a computer assist. Total Productive Management (TPM) is our manufacturing-led system that transforms the culture to create a collaborative way of life.
