25 S/4HANA Pricing PBS archive add ons S/4HANA is successor of previous core product SAP Business Suite. SAP HANA is solely and exclusively available as in-memory DB for the S/4 applications and also adopts the application functions in the new applications. A corresponding PBS license is necessary for PBS software components that should be used in an SAP S/4HANA environment. A conversion within an existing PBS support services agreement is impossible. Existing customers who already use PBS software components and have a valid support services agreement can purchase new PBS licenses for S/4HANA with an attractive discount. Pricing details are available via our partners and the PBS sales team. New customers who decide to use the PBS archive add ons within the S/4HANA migration uniquely license on S/4HANA basis. The PBS maintenance charge for S/4HANA is 20% of the license list price. 25

29 Summary We recommend an active data management prior to the S/4HANA migration and in regular operation PBS archive add ons can be integrated seamlessly in the migration process without a significant burden on the migration budget ( attractive S/4HANA pricing scheme for existing PBS customers) Long-term, compliant storage only by consistent SAP data archiving (ERP and S/4HANA) From a technical point of view, new legal requirements (EU-DSGVO) can only be met through archiving 29
