13 Creep & Fan-out Adjustments Creep (sometimes called shingling) adjustment automatically positions the pages on the sheet so that after the bindery process the distance between the edge of the page and the edge of the sheet are more consistent. Fan-out adjusts the position of the image on a plate to compensate for the stretch in paper during the printing process. To ensure best registration and consistent quality, fan-out adjustment allows userdefined page adjustment, per plate template and per color.
