2 Barb Viola Barb is a Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer at BlueScope Buildings North America (BBNA). Her responsibilities include integrating ERP data into the BI data warehouse, with a primarily focus on RPD work and creating reports. She has worked with OBIEE for the past 4 years. Barb earned by degrees from Blackhawk Technical College with dual Associate degrees in Information Technology and Programming. She previously worked at Varco Pruden Buildings for 26 years before working at BBNA for the past 9 years.

13 Global EBS instance Informatica to ODI Informatica Loads data into its own memory before applying transformation commands, even when input data exists in data warehouse staging schema Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) ODI lets the data stay in the database and applies transformation logic in the form of SQL functions

14 Global EBS instance ETL Impact A new integration service with Unicode data movement mode should be set up with data codepage validation turned off In the OS environment: INFA_CODEPAGE, LC_ALL, LANG and NLS_LANG variables should be defined that correspond to UTF-8 NLS_LANG should match the database server. NLS and LC variables must match with repository service configuration
