4 Welcome to Marsh ClearSight Welcome Marsh ClearSight users! This documentation, designed for system administrators, serves as your guide through the transition to the new Marsh ClearSight platform. It introduces Marsh ClearSight and its key concepts, provides an overview of the platform, and guides you through registering as a new user. It also includes suggestions and materials to support your organization s transition; and it provides answers to frequently asked questions. How We Designed The Marsh ClearSight Platform Marsh ClearSight was developed to address the unmet needs of the RMIS market: an intuitive platform that brings together users, tools, and data for more efficient workflows and deeper insights to help our clients evaluate, mitigate, and manage risk. Marsh ClearSight s solution stands on three key pillars: 1. Clearer Data: Integrate all of your data into a single database; 2. Clearer Analytics: Address critical issues with powerful insights where and when you need them; and 3. Clearer Collaboration: Collaborate intra-, inter-, and supra- company right from the platform, making business processes more efficient. The foundation of the platform is workflow- and insight-driven apps for risk, safety and claims professionals. We developed the platform around your business processes so that every app guides you through specific workflows and key decisions to make your workday more strategic and productive. All apps share a common database and framework to allow stakeholders within your organization to seamlessly move from one app to another. As industry trends and needs change, the Marsh ClearSight platform enables you to get the clearest line of sight into your risk. By accessing the right apps, experts, thought leadership, and technology, your team can identify, anticipate, and manage your organization s risk issues. The Advantages of Marsh ClearSight We want you to feel comfortable knowing what to expect when you log in to Marsh ClearSight. Below we have highlighted some of the developments and new features you can take advantage of. DID YOU KNOW? Stars Enterprise is now called Enterprise and is an app on the Marsh ClearSight platform. 1

5 The Advantages of Marsh ClearSight Workflow-Driven Applications: Integrated apps designed around your business processes to streamline your workflow and help make third-party handoffs seamless. Expanded Analytics and Data: Advanced analytics provide you the clearest line of sight into your data which allows you to address critical business issues and make better, more informed decisions to manage your total cost of risk and achieve your organizational goals. Enhanced Collaboration: Apps offer tools which allow you to easily communicate around your business processes with internal and external stakeholders across your risk ecosystem. For example, you may need to connect with a broker, solicit the opinion of an industry expert on a claim, or follow up with a question about information submitted for a policy renewal. This functionality drives productivity by making your business processes more efficient. Improved User Interface: Marsh ClearSight has updated the user interface, bringing a unique, user friendly experience to the risk management market. The intuitive design allows you to access and analyze your data with ease. Mobile Capabilities: Marsh ClearSight s mobile capabilities allow users to access the platform and all apps from any mobile device, without having to download and install any external apps. Overview of the Platform When you log into Marsh ClearSight, you will see three main navigation headers: Insights, Community and App Center. Insights: An information network that combines knowledge and expertise from across Marsh & McLennan as well as other industry thought leaders, providing you with practical and timely insights to help you stay up-to-date on the latest trends and risk issues. You can read and share articles that interest you, comment on articles, and contribute an article for publication. 2

6 Overview of the Platform Community: An online community that enables users to collaborate, communicate virtually, share knowledge, and exchange ideas with peers. You can create or join subject-specific groups and get the latest information and thinking from experts on virtually any topic, industry, or role. You can also instantly connect with other Marsh ClearSight members with whom you can collaborate and exchange information in real-time to help you complete tasks quickly. DID YOU KNOW? Community consists of public and private interest groups that focus on specific topics. App Center : Access your purchased apps and learn about all of the Marsh ClearSight and third-party apps. For additional information on Insights, Community and App Center, as well as step-by-step instructions on key functionality within each, please visit our Marsh ClearSight Help Center. Your Account Executive will work with you to determine which apps will best fit your needs. 3

7 Getting Started with Marsh ClearSight Existing Enterprise SaaS clients have access to the Marsh ClearSight platform including Insights, Community, and the Enterprise app. Non-SaaS clients have access to Insights and Community only. In order to access Marsh ClearSight for the first time, you must register as a new user on Marsh ClearSight by following these simple instructions (Current Enterprise users - please use the associated with your Enterprise account). Once you are registered, you can sign in as an existing user by entering your user name ( address) and password. SaaS clients can access Enterprise from the App Center. By launching Enterprise from the App Center, your existing functionality is accessible. Accessing Enterprise from the Marsh ClearSight platform allows you to seamlessly move between applications and Enterprise. Enterprise and Marsh ClearSight apps all share a common database and security structure which allows you to use the new platform without migration. Many ClearSight apps provide new tools, faster workflows, and new functionality that are not available in Enterprise. DID YOU KNOW? Existing Enterprise SaaS clients have access to the Marsh Clear- Sight platform including Insights, Community, and the Enterprise app. Non-SaaS clients have access to Insights and Community only, and will need to migrate to a SaaS license to have access to Marsh ClearSight apps. Visit my.marshclearsight.com Marsh ClearSight features single sign-on capabilities which means you are not required to input your Enterprise password. As a reminder, Marsh ClearSight employs two-factor authentication, meaning the first time you sign in from a new computer you may be asked to include a verification code that is ed to you. We encourage you to explore and become familiar with the new platform. Browse the Insights section, engage in Community, and search the App Center to see firsthand all that is available to you. It may be helpful to join some of the Community groups or create your own to stay connected with Marsh ClearSight and your peers. Of special note is the New Product feedback group where you can post ideas about any features or functionality you would like to see. NOTE Your Marsh ClearSight password is different than your Enterprise password. DID YOU KNOW? If you are a Marsh client you can access the Marsh ClearSight platform from the Marsh.com client portal. After logging into Marsh.com, you can launch Marsh ClearSight. 4

8 Getting Your Team Started We want you to feel comfortable introducing the Marsh ClearSight platform to your team. There is no migration required for existing SaaS clients; however, non-saas clients must migrate to a SaaS license in order to access all Marsh ClearSight apps. You choose when you will get started. Simply contact your Account Executive to discuss the timing of your team s transition. Your Account Executive will work to provision your team s access to the platform based on your request. USEFUL TIP Consider using Community to share questions, comments, and useful tips regarding the transition to Marsh ClearSight. Marsh ClearSight Apps We encourage you to visit the App Center in the platform to see detailed descriptions of each app. Your Account Executive will work with you on providing demonstrations, training, and other support for each of the apps. If you have any additional questions, comments, or concerns, please don t hesitate to contact your Account Executive. 5

9 Frequently Asked Questions What is happening with Enterprise functionality and reports? Enterprise functionality does not change. Clients can replace or supplement their current Enterprise functionality with new apps on the Marsh ClearSight platform. Why should I move to Marsh ClearSight? The Marsh ClearSight platform provides clients the opportunity to take advantage of the latest risk technology and access to expanded data, powerful analytics, and enhanced collaboration to gain the clearest line of sight to your risk. Do I need to migrate? No migration is required for SaaS clients. Non-Saas clients will need to migrate to the latest SaaS version. When do I need to transition? SaaS clients can transition in the timeframe that works best for them. What s the process for transition to Marsh ClearSight? Your Account Executive will be reaching out to you with details, but if you d like to discuss this sooner, please contact him or her at your convenience. When will Marsh ClearSight apps be available? The apps will be available November What is the cost? Marsh ClearSight customers can access the platform including Insights, Community, and Enterprise app (SaaS customers only) for no additional charge. Please contact your Account Executive to discuss the cost of additional functionality and apps. Who can access the Marsh ClearSight platform? Marsh ClearSight SaaS clients can access the Marsh ClearSight platform including Insights, Community and the Enterprise app. Non-SaaS clients only have access to the Insights and Community sections of the platform; however, in order to access the App Center non-saas clients need to migrate to a SaaS license. Please contact your Account Executive for more details. Who is on the Marsh ClearSight platform? Clients of Marsh and Marsh ClearSight have access to the platform. Third parties that do not have conflicting issues may also be provided free access to the platform. What can I do in the Marsh ClearSight Collaborative Platform and why should I use it? As a client, you can connect to all of your apps with a single sign on. You can also read news articles providing insight into industry relevant issues. Additionally, you can join discussion groups and collaborate with platform members across your organization and beyond, plus conduct private conversations with other ClearSight users. Why am I being asked to enter a verification code (token) when I sign into Marsh ClearSight? Marsh ClearSight sign-in supports two-factor authentication to make sure that the person signing into an account is the person who owns the account. When signing in from an unrecognized IP address, a page opens requesting you to enter a security token to verify your information. An with the token will be sent from Marsh ClearSight. Copy the token from your to the relevant field, and click Submit. 6
