1 Bp has announced the EPOS upgrade/replacement program that is designed to address the upcoming Indoor EMV deadline of October 1 st, This EMV upgrade is requiring ALL retail merchants to upgrade their EPOS equipment to an approved POS capable of handling EMV transactions. Below are the approved POS options going forward. Bp has negotiated some great pricing on your behalf to help you get to the new EMV Standards. You will have to make a few decisions. US Oil will be handling the order on your behalf. We will need to know a few things from you BEFORE we can get you started. You will see some EARLY BIRD incentive savings below. So it s extremely important you send this back ASAP to qualify. NOTE: you are not guaranteed the EARLY BIRD incentive. These are a first come first serve and are not assigned until the site is COMPLETELY upgraded. In order for your locations to process the EMV transactions quickly Bp is requiring that all sites switch to DSL. There will be a Satellite option if you can t get reliable DSL in your area. 8 Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) Upgrade Financial Planning As one of U.S. Oil s valued customers we are offering the below options in order to assist you in planning for the cost of your required EPOS upgrade. It is our goal to help ease future billing of the upgrade expense over the coming months through one of the options listed below. We anticipate that the majority of sites will incur approximately $3,000 in out of pocket upgrade costs that will be billed by U.S. Oil. For that reason, we will only accumulate a maximum of $3,000 through one of the options selected. Please select one of the following options: A. Standard Billing Terms - The upgrade expense will be billed in full once work has been completed (No Financial Planning Assistance Needed) Bill me on my standard account terms once work is complete B. Fuel Up-Charge Starting 5/1/2015 U.S. Oil will begin up-charging all fuel gallons with a per gallon surcharge. Your Fuel Up Charge amount would be based off how many gallons you purchase to collect enough before install is done.
