3 3 What Are NEWSCYCLE Operational Services? Operational Services is a proactive service that NEWSCYCLE has been developing within Operations the past few months. The intent is to perform Level 2 type, service related tasks for our customers, hosted by us and self hosted. These Services are designed to help maintain, and over time, improve the performance of your systems. Through the use of Regular reviews, monitoring of systems and performing operational tasks that you and your teams no longer have the time or expertise to perform internally. Our Operational Services Group is here to Help you: Maximize the availability and effectiveness of your NEWSCYCLE systems Replace team members that have left, are retiring or are over stretched Perform the less glamorous operational tasks you are challenged with today Free up your teams, allowing them to focus on other businessrelated projects

We create a detailed Fiscal Close Checklist that outlines the run-time parameters required to successfully complete the Fiscal Close process Product IDs Date Range of Fiscal Periods, etc.! We work with the site to coordinate the date/time of processing! Some of this could potentially be automated! Our team runs this process at the predetermined date/time Daily/Weekly/Monthly Workflow Reviews! Many sites work from checklists and templates that were created during their implementation. How could these be updated to optimize manual efforts, decrease time requirements, etc., to complete the various tasks and processes they run each day?

11 11 L2 Services Advertising Configuration Management: The process of maintaining Newscycle Advertising software system settings and configurations to allow for normal operation as well as providing normal system maintenance and adjustments. Typical Configuration Management tasks include, but are not limited to the following: " Rate changes & additions " Adding or changing products " Adding or changing packages " Changing AR parameters, GL, etc. " Adding or changing contracts " Annual rate updates

12 12 L2 Services Advertising AR Period End Processing: Let Newscycle help you complete some or all of the 9 steps you need to complete for your Period End Processing procedures Your team may not have time, be too stretched, have more important tasks to perform, if so let our team help them: 1. Invoicing 2. Applying payments 3. Applying finance charges 4. Rerating contract orders 5. Processing contract information 6. Marking invoices for collections 7. Writing off uncollectable 8. 13 13 L2 Services Advertising AR Daily Invoicing: NEWSCYCLE runs the Invoice Generator and the before and after reports to make sure all that is publishable will be invoiced on the schedule you determine. Pre-balancing: NEWSCYCLE runs the balancing process and makes sure all is in balance. Site would then run the actual balancing and produce reports for EOP. Close Transaction and Ensure They Balance: NEWSCYCLE runs the initial Close Transactions process and maintains it throughout the month.

Newscycle runs this on a regular basis to ensure that Core and BI DB are in sync and up to date Purging Data: Ads, Documents, Audit Trail - develop a maintenance plan and run as schedule tasks! This class is designed to teach the attendee the more advanced use of a specific application or module. This class is ideal for users looking to get advanced training in a specific application or module such as new functionality, shortcuts, etc.

20 20 System Monitoring On-Premise Customers Database monitoring and day-to-day database management PRTG system monitoring of your on-premise systems from our NOC! Space availability! And much more We use Imperva to analyze network traffic and can use it to block attacks We use Cylance to monitor for viruses, malware, etc. to prevent cyber attacks We use HEAT to deploy OS Level patches

21 21 Disaster Recovery On-Premise Customers We can maintain a copy of your system in a minimalistic form: copy of a database, Fileserver, Web Server, robots, etc. The database and possible fileserver can be Kept Warm backing up data regularly. The remaining servers are created and kept offline In an emergency, your complete environment is scaled up as needed to handle the required load The agreement defines how quickly you need the solution to be made available And defines the size of the DR solution you need to continue production

22 22 Backups and Test Systems On-Premise Customers Setup and monitor your local backups! We help set up and test to ensure it is working! We can store it offsite (restrictions on tokenized data)! Save tape rotation, local storage, etc. Readily available should you need it in an emergency Save your data to our Cloud! You back up your data and database and then copy to AWS daily, maintaining multiple days of data backups. Should something happen locally, your data is safe in the NEWSCYCLE Cloud (restrictions on tonkenized data)! If there is a need to recover from an old backup or review an old backup we provide the backup for your team to restore. We can work with your team to restore the backup onto a local server of your choice or we can restore the backup onto a VM server in the NEWSCYCLE Cloud Test systems! Why maintain your own test system when it s only used on rare occasions? We can provide a test system for you in the NEWSCYCLE Cloud. Pay a minimum cost when its dormant, and full cost when it s being used
