This mortar achieves initial set in 16 to 24 hours and has an excellent bond capacity. ErthCOVERINGS recommends this mortar for all applications not requiring a fast setting mortar. Mortairvent employs innovative rainscreen technology that equalizes the air pressure within the wall system by creating a ventilation cavity between the weather resistant barrier and the exterior wall. The polymer-core mesh creates the airspace that allows excess moisture to drain and not remain in the wall system.
