2 The Cambridge Collection THE CAMBRIDGE COLLECTION The Cambridge Collection from Timeless Architectural Reproductions is the most popular and most versatile of Balustrade Systems. The Cambridge baluster has an appealing curved contour that compliments many architectural styles including the popular Greek Revival, English Manor and Neo-Classic styles as well as many others. Cambridge balusters come in six baluster heights and can be used in residential, roof top and commercial applications. The Cambridge balusters can be combined with the 10, 12, 18 and 45 Timeless s. Timeless s come in peaked, rounded and flat caps which can accommodate added decorative ball caps, risers and be used as column pedestals. * Not all caps styles are available for all post sizes, see specifications for details. The Cambridge Collection has two railing profiles, tall and short for added versatility. Extended stair balusters for both residential and commercial heights and rooftop balusters complete the collection, providing many height and installation options. The gentle curves and distinctive detailing of the Cambridge baluster combined with the low maintenance properties, make the Cambridge system an ideal choice for porches, decks, balconies, porticos, stairways and more. Each balustrade system piece is hand crafted and hand sanded to a beautiful smooth finish, with no visible seams. Although every Timeless balustrade system is hand finished, home owners and builders need to prime and paint the system; when doing so use a high-quality exterior latex paint. The Cambridge Collection balusters, railings, newel posts, ball caps and risers as well as all Timeless baluster collections, are manufactured from a marble fiberglass-reinforced polymer composite material. Backed by a lifetime limited warranty this material will not rot, crack or split and are insect resistant and will withstand extreme whether conditions, making the entire system virtually maintenance free. STRENGTH WITHOUT THE WEIGHT All Timeless balustrade systems are lighter in weight when compared to comparable stone and concrete systems. Timeless balustrades can be installed directly to wood decks without the need for excessive structural reinforcement and are routinely specified for balconies and porticos. 4 Cambridge Applications RADIUS APPLICATIONS The sweeping grandeur of a curved installation will visually enhance any home. When you want to make a statement or when curves are needed, use a custom radius rail along with our 45 to achieve dramatic and stunning results. Timeless 45 newel posts are designed to be used with our 12 and 18 newel posts, creating a variety of style options. The 45 newel posts are available in peaked and rounded cap options, rounded cap posts can also be further adorned with ball tops. Cambridge Applications ROOFTOP APPLICATIONS The Cambridge Collection rooftop balusters come in two rooftop heights, 18 and 22.

Both the 18 and 22 rooftop systems can be enhanced with 12 peaked, rounded and flat and the 22 system includes the 45 peaked and rounded capped newel posts.

5 Cambridge Applications ROOFTOP APPLICATIONS The Cambridge Collection rooftop balusters come in two rooftop heights, 18 and 22. These baluster heights are ideal for added architectural interest to non-access areas. Both the 18 and 22 rooftop systems can be enhanced with 12 peaked, rounded and flat and the 22 system includes the 45 peaked and rounded capped newel posts. STAIRWAY APPLICATIONS Every Timeless balustrade collection includes extended/stair balusters and newel posts so every installation that includes a stairway maintains beautiful integrity. Using the extended balusters and newel posts allows the installer to accurately maintain the same distance between top and bottom railing as the adjoining level baluster installation, assuring an architecturally and aesthetically correct installation while also meeting code.

8 The Cambridge Collection EASY INSTALLATION RAILINGS Complete step-by-step and illustrated instructions are available for all Timeless balustrade systems. Please visit our website or call us toll free for complete instructions [see below]. Tall Profile Railing INSTALLATION HARDWARE Zinc plated installation hardware is available for all balustrade systems. As all hardware is completely encapsulated, this allows for a rust-free system. SHIMS 7/16 thick shims are available for all railing widths. Use shims under bottom railing when flooring surface is uneven or use in place of weep holes. Top Rails Short Profile Railing Bottom Rails CERTIFICATION All Timeless balustrade systems meet and/or exceed all BOCA testing requirements.
