The W-2500 Casement Window line continues to offer the Standard Sash with clean, sleek lines for a more contemporary look, but now has expanded to include a Traditional Sash. The Traditional Sash option offers more substantial wood components. It s a great choice for those who require custom sizes or those seeking to add the richness and beauty of wood into their windows at an attractive price point. Exterior Paint Finish. Custom Windows with a wood exterior now offer the option for a factory finish on the exterior. This water-based paint finish is a beautiful way to add value to the window and reduce the headache of finishing after installation. With the ability to match virtually any color, the choices are limited only by your imagination. This high performance finish meets or exceeds the rigorous industry testing: WDMA TM-12. This intensive testing covers 12 areas of durability including abrasion resistance and adhesion, ultraviolet deterioration, chalking, and much more. They are perfect for areas that call for a fire door, but the customer wants the aesthetic appeal of our Custom Door collection and the durability of fiberglass. All panel designs, including segment and radius top, are available with 20-minute fire ratings. Custom designs are available upon request. New Option! IWP Aurora Custom Fiberglass Door is now available with Florida approved transoms and mulled transoms. NAFS (North American Fenestration Standard) Certification is now available for IWP Aurora Custom Fiberglass Doors. VINYL WINDOWS & PATIO DOORS Now Showing! Sandblasted (Satin Etch) glass In response to customer demand, this premiumpriced glass option is now available from our facilities in the west (Stayton, Yakima, and Vista). Satin Etch glass offers privacy with the beauty of elegant frosting. Builders Vinyl Paint offering is now limited to two two-tone options. Builders and Brickmould products are now only available with a choice of EverTone TM Chestnut Bronze or Dark Chocolate exterior with White interior. Retro Brickmould has been discontinued. Premium Narrow Stile Patio Sliding Door can now be ordered as an ADA compliant unit. The minimum width for this unit is 76. This door meets ADA and FHA criteria for clear opening, operational force, and hardware that does not require pinching or grasping in order to operate. Please note this door is not sold with a ramp or ramp simulation to address the slope requirement of ADA qualification. NAFS (North American Fenestration Standard) Regional Compliance choice for Vinyl Windows in Canada is now available in QuickQuote to meet the newly adopted 2010 National Building Code of Canada. Please verify with your local code official or JELD-WEN inside sales representative which code is adopted in your particular province prior to ordering windows. There are two choices available in QQ to meet either 2005 or 2010 NBCC. There is now a WOCD (Window Opening Control Device) Ship Loose Option (PA, IA/OH Titan only). This means that the windows ordered with WOCDs will deliver with a pre-punch route in the frame and the WOCD inserts taped to the glass of the applicable window. Once the unit is installed and ready for inspection, simply follow the field installation instructions to install the WOCDs into the pre-punched routes. The WOCD is designed specifically to limit sash travel as a form of fall prevention. However, limiting sash travel can hinder jobsite functionality. Meets ASTM F standard. 4 IMPROVEMENTS TO YOUR QUICKQUOTE EXPERIENCE THE FOLLOWING ENHANCEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO QUICKQUOTE TO PROVIDE THE USER MORE FLEXIBILITY IN OPTIONS AND THE ABILITY TO THEIR DOCUMENTS. Regional Compliance section added to QuickQuote. In many regions of North America, specific compliance certification is required. While JELD-WEN products are tested to AAMA/ WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440 criteria and rated to a Performance Grade (PG), we are also able to include more regionally-specific criteria. To help make it more simple to find products that fit these regional requirements, we have added a Regional Compliance drop-down selection to QuickQuote. The choices currently are: US National - AAMA, Canada NAFS 08 (meets 2010 NBCC), Canada CSA A440 (meets 2005 NBCC), FBC (Florida Building Commission approved), TDI AAMA (evaluated by Texas Department of Insurance). To ensure the product is labeled properly for your region, please select the Regional Compliance that will best meet your local code. NOTE: This new question may affect existing quotes. If you have any questions, please contact your JELD-WEN inside sales representative. California Title 24 changing ENERGY STAR NC to LoE Added an indicator that the customer info file is loading and was successfully applied. This provides reassurance that the update is complete. Option to not print Builder Agreement when printing current quote. Added Slider to allow user to manage the memory used by QuickQuote. This can help with performance issues on some machines. 5 IMPROVEMENTS TO YOUR QUICKQUOTE EXPERIENCE (continued) Added a Modified Date column to home screen. To see this new column, you must go to View Select Details and choose the Modified Date check box. Once done, the modified dates on all your quotes will show on the home screen. Added validation of discount entered, so it is within acceptable value. Previously, some users experienced problems when entering in the percentage discount on a quote as a fraction, for example.45. This applied a discount of.45% and not the intended 45%. This new validation only allows discounts greater than 1% or less that-1% to ensure the correct discount is entered. JELD-WEN Express Page 5

CUSTOM VENTING SIDELITES In keeping with the trend toward outdoor living, JELD-WEN is now offering Custom Venting Sidelites for our Custom Swing Patio Doors. Simply twist the thumb turn to open the sidelite. Venting sidelites are great for times when only a little bit of airflow is wanted or when a homeowner would prefer to keep the main door closed. Sidelites are available in all the finishes and with all the options that you have come to expect with Custom Windows. They are available in a variety of species, but are standard with AuraLast pine which is backed by an industry-leading warranty against rot. PREMIUM WOOD SLIDING PATIO DOOR JELD-WEN continues to expand its successful Premium Wood Sliding Patio Door line with the addition of a Quad configuration in a narrow stile to allow for more natural light in both wood and clad exteriors. The line also offers an all-wood exterior option on the narrow stile door in both natural and primed. Additionally, look for new hardware finishes and handleset options. *Rendering DESIGN PRESSURE (DP) AND PERFORMANCE GRADE (PG) RATINGS UPDATES IN QUICKQUOTE To understand how a product has been tested and to what level it performed, it is important to understand the difference between Design Pressure (DP) and Performance Grade (PG). PG is a more accurate numerical representation of the true performance of a window. The Design Pressure (DP) rating indicates that the product has passed Structural testing at specific positive and negative pressures, for example: DP+35/-35. The Performance Grade (PG) rating, for example PG35, signifies testing of six elements: operating force, air infiltration, water penetration, design load, structural load, and force entry resistance. Showing both DP and PG is a more comprehensive way to talk about window performance. By just listing the DP rating, other companies are only telling part of the story. JELD-WEN products are tested in many ways beyond just the DP rating. All JELD-WEN products are tested to the highest standard to give the end user the confidence they expect from a quality product. Adding the PG rating to our quoting software will help communicate the multiple areas of durability and quality to which our products are tested. JELD-WEN Express Page 6
