Manufactured in Australia by Tech Plas Extrusions the TechBoard System has the backing of over 30 years of polymer experience and quality. Manufacturing for long standing customers such as Carter Holt Harvey, James Hardie and Rondo, Tech Plas know the importance of consistently high quality and service. Adhering to required industry standards and with proper use the TechBoard can be utilised for many years of safe service. At the end of the TechBoards serviceable life Tech Plas are able to recycle them in to the next generation and provide a rebate on a new stock of products. 4 Certification and Quality Control The TechBoard is compliant with AS/NZS 1577:2013 and applicable international standards/regulations. The TechBoard system has been designed to satisfy the loading table below. 5 TechBoards Methods of Use Maximum support spans as per loading table ( m) Avoid nailing or screwing in to boards Do not overload scaffolding (As per AS:NZS 1577 standards table) Ensure that TechBoards are installed according to all relevant OH&S, standards and regulations Do not exceed safe carrying limits set by OH&S regulations Do not drop boards from height Acknowledge and cease use of TechBoards that have experienced damage Due to the lower weight of the TechBoards during transportation and storage ensure that stock is adequately secured Ensure that no water build up is present inside the TechBoards before use and during storage (particularly limit potential clogging of snow or mud in freezing conditions) Regularly clean with use of a pressure washer or water hose Accessories To mitigate large electro static discharges utilise at least one MMESD joiner to connect individual board bays, if additional ESD s are detected MMESD joiners can be used down the length of the bay between boards- Please tailor to suit weather conditions and potential static build-up TechBoard end caps are to be installed as required they are designed to be pushed or lightly hammered in to place if required- Tech Plas recommends sealing all Tech Boards with end caps to minimise exposure to insects and animals

7 TechBoard Environmental Policy The TechBoard system presents an ideal means of minimising environmental impact and trade waste costs. At the end of usable life, whether this is through age degradation or on-site customisation and damage, Tech Plas Extrusions has the ultimate goal to recycle used stock and provide the end users with a rebate on new stock. This ensures that the TechBoards have a completely circular product life cycle, saving both excessive landfill volumes and overall costs of scaffold stocks. With the launch of the TechBoard system Tech Plas Extrusions is determined to recycle 100% of the TechBoard Scaffolding products. Due to the systems longevity, this is likely to take time, as the only boards recycled at the early stages will be due to damage or off-cuts. As such Tech Plas will endeavour to recycle all possible Tech Boards and utilise only best practice materials until the recycled supply of TechBoards meets the demand. Tech Plas Extrusions proudly manufacture all products from best environmental practice PVC and actively participate in the Vinyl Council of Australia s environmental product stewardship program.
