3 Responsibility consciousness and sustainability Whether their sources are sunflower seeds, water, or other raw materials straight from nature, Worlée s products are based more and more on renewable raw materials. We are convinced that these natural resources should be put to use. Through sustainable cultivation, renewable raw materials make it possible for us to ensure a long-term supply of the binders needed for the paint and coatings industry without harm being done to the environment along the way. Some of our products are composed of up to 97 percent renewable raw materials, and we are making an ongoing effort to continue further along this path. Worlée polymer hardening agents* for construction chemicals The REACH Regulation (VO (EG) Nr. 1907/2006) distinguishes between materials that must be registered and polymers which are excepted from registration according to Article 2.9. The polymer hardeners in our WorléeCure product line are based on polymer polyamines that are not subject to registration. The objective of the REACH Regulation is to ensure a high protection level for human health and the environment. Furthermore, environmental authorities expect that all entities in the value-added chain guarantee safe usage of materials, compounds, mixtures and products by employing recommended risk mitigation measures. Worlée supports this expectation and is highly conscious of its responsibility in this regard, which also extends to epoxy resin hardeners in field of construction chemicals. WorléeCure for innovative solutions The goal of the new epoxy resin hardeners from the WorléeCure family is to offer the high performance profile of standard products that have been used to date for applications in construction chemistry while at the same time also guaranteeing a higher safety level for their usage. With WorléeCure products, customers can easily manufacture primers, mortars, roller coatings and self-levelling coatings.
