6 An open array of applications Building and construction Our adhesives and sealants for the building and construction industry benefit from Dynasol s expertise as leader in several civil engineering applications such as pavement, crack filler, bitumen modification, road sealant, among others, by obtaining excellent weatherability, ease-of-application, durability and temperature and water resistance properties. All of which are strategic for choosing SBC adhesives and sealants in the construction industry. Transportation Due to their durability, outdoor performance and their capacity to adhere to both low and high surface energy substrates, SBC-based adhesives and sealants successfully meet the demanding needs of all transportation sectors such as automobiles, aircraft, spacecraft and shipbuilding. Tapes and labels SBC-based adhesives meet the requirements of label and tape applications providing versatile pressure sensitive properties. They are easy to apply, lightweight, and can be die cut to fit the smallest and most unusual shapes. Packaging Hot Melt SBC-based adhesives are able to fulfil every market characteristic of the high demanding industries, thus influencing the packaging adhesive demand. SBCs in hot melts find growing use in applications such as case sealing, lamination and labelling due to the expanding use of modified paper and board as well as polar surfaces in packaging materials.

7 A broad product range SEBS These polymers are styrenic block copolymer hydrogenates, with a styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS) structure. In general, the saturated block copolymers SEBS are used where long term thermo and photo-oxidative stability is critical or whenever compatibility with other low polarity adhesive ingredients is required. SEBS polymers, which have saturated rubber blocks, are the materials of choice for adhesives that require long term stability in the melt state. SBS These polymers are styrenic block copolymers with unsaturated polybutadiene midblock with a styrenebutadiene-styrene (SBS) structure. Dynasol SBS block copolymers are primarily employed where low cost or improved adhesive-cohesive properties are required for adhesive formulation. An advantage of SBC block copolymers is their narrow molecular weight distribution, providing a faster solution process, which means time and money savings. SB/SSBR SBC block copolymers are characterized by a well controlled linear structure with a very narrow molecular weight distribution, high purity and a very clear colour. These polymers are widely used in adhesive formulations for an extensive amount of applications such as tapes and labels, construction (including asphalt modification pavement), sealants and transportation. Furthermore, these copolymers offer improved die-cutting behaviour.

10 Handling and storage Dynasol s products are packaged for normal handling conditions. To preserve the products' properties, store in a well ventilated area and away from humidity and sunlight.
