Products certified for Canada shall have all Caution and Warning markings in both English and French. Additional bilingual markings not covered by the product standard(s) may be required by the Authorities Having Jurisdiction. It is the responsibility of the manufacturer to provide and apply these additional markings, where applicable, in accordance with the requirements of those authorities. Nameplate adhesive label material approval information: The markings are permanently marked on a metal nameplate(s) having a minimum thickness of 0.5mm, securely attached by means of rivets or drive pins engaging bottomed holes. Alternatively, these marking may appear on a CSA Accepted label as follows: Silver-polyester label with type P1410 Pressure Sensitive adhesive manufacturer: TLF Graphics, Suitable for use indoor and outdoor on metal at 100C max. (CSA File number: LR 59850) The main adhesive marking label appears on the external surface of the luminaire and contains the following markings: NAMEPLATE: - Manufacturer s Name or trademark or Master Contract Number adjacent to the CSA Mark. 4 - Product Designation: MLLED or MERCMASTER LED LOW PROFILE. - Catalogue Number. - Hazardous locations rating. - In addition to Hazardous location rating equipment may be marked: Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC, may be marked Zone 20 and 21, may be marked Zone 22. In accordance with NEC and CEC. - Electrical ratings: voltage, frequency, amperes, and/or watts. - Supply wire temperature. - Maximum ambient temperature. - CAUTION -TO REDUCE THE RISK OF IGNITION OF HAZARDOUS ATMOSPHERES DISCONNECT THE FIXTURE FROM THE SUPPLY CIRCUIT BEFORE OPENING. The manufacturer is to insert identification of the fuse filled with noncombustible granular material in the space marked x. ALTERATIONS 1. Markings are provided as described above. FACTORY TESTS A factory-wired luminaire shall withstand for 1 minute without breakdown the application of an ac voltage applied between live parts and non-current carrying metal parts.
