Products certified for Canada shall have all Caution and Warning markings in both English and French. Additional bilingual markings not covered by the product standard(s) may be required by the Authorities Having Jurisdiction. It is the responsibility of the manufacturer to provide and apply these additional markings, where applicable, in accordance with the requirements of those authorities. The products listed are eligible to bear the CSA Mark shown with adjacent indicators 'C' and 'US' for Canada and US (indicating that products have been manufactured to the requirements of both Canadian and U.S. Standards) or with adjacent indicator 'US' for US only or without either indicator for Canada only. Nameplate adhesive label material approval information: The following markings must appear on each unit, in a permanent manner. 1. The manufacturer's name or CSA File Number or Master Contract Number and CUS Monogram. 2. The catalogue number. 3. The electrical rating: rated input in Volts, Hertz, Amperes 4. The date code (indicating the month and year of manufacture). 5. The battery identification, where applicable, shall be permanently marked within the battery compartment or other location, where readily visible after installation. The battery identification includes the battery manufacturer's name, type or catalogue designation, date of manufacture and the design life expectancy. DQD 507 Rev Page 2

Installation wiring terminal or lead identification permanently affixed to or near all terminals or leads intended for the connection of field wiring. Colour coding of leads is considered sufficient identification. Note: A marking that begins with the word "CAUTION" shall be permanent and shall be in the form of paint-stencilled, die-stamped, or indelible lettering, or an indelibly printed label. Hazardous location designation: Class I, Div 2, Groups A, B, C, D, T5 temperature code (as applicable) - In addition to the marking above, markings clarifying the suitable area classification (as per the CEC, Part I and NEC Article 505.9) may also be included, such as; - IP66 (optional) - Tye 4X (optional) - MARINE OUTSIDE TYPE SALTWATER (optional) - Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC (optional) - The following bilingual Cautions or equivalent must appear: WARNING - EXPLOSION HAZARD - DO NOT DISCONNECT WHILE CIRCUIT IS LIVE UNLESS AREA IS KNOWN TO BE NON- HAZARDOUS, and, AVERTISSEMENT - RISQUE D'EXPLOSION.
