Thank you to Lokal Homes for providing lunch Project Green Award to the Building Division o Becoming paperless in 4 years o Savings of around $10,500 Next Contractor Luncheon is August 9, 2017 at Rhyolite Park A. Electrical Trenches: Jon White, Building Inspector Supervisor presented and answered questions. B. Update CO Process & Acceptable CO Documents: James Martino, Assistant Chief Building Official, and Dena Paulin, Development Services Technician, presented and answered questions. Cooperation has been outstanding Up to 3 days to review and except Review will not start over once a missing document is received Biggest change is the Schedule CO Review Inspection on-line Inspection Cards o Final Building on inspection cards means all final inspections o Bonded DESC is marked N/A Incomplete CO Review Submittals will generate automatic on what is missing CO Review Submittal is complete, will generate to notify 24 hours for signature Make sure we have all correct contact and address information ILC goes to house permit and same requirements for commercial TCO s are hardly ever issued Why the change o Too many CO requests for same day Need feedback on what is working and not working C. 8 SCHEDULING THE CO REVIEW INSPECTION Before scheduling the REQ CO Review Inspection verify the following items are complete: CO Checklist requirements are complete All outstanding fees have been paid DESC Final Inspection has passed DESC Final Grade Certificate has been approved ILC is attached to the house permit not the DESC permit Review the 3 rd party Engineer Letters in your Dashboard for accuracy and completeness Final Building Inspection has passed and all signatures are present on the Inspection Record Card If any of the above information is incomplete or inaccurate the request will be assigned a 3 day Re:Review. Duplicate requests for a CO Review will be cancelled. Document review may take up to 3 business days. *REQUIRES AN ENGINEER WET STAMPED LETTER OR CERTIFICATE requests for CO review will not be processed.
9 DASHBOARD SCREEN To start the CO Review process schedule a R: CO Review Inspection. You will receive an confirmation the inspection has been scheduled. The Complete status of the inspection indicates the Building Counter Team have begun the CO Review process. Not the permit is ready for CO. The permitting staff has 24 hours to complete the document review for a Certificate of Occupancy.
10 INCOMPLETE CO REVIEW SUBMITTALS If the building counter team receives a request for CO Review with documents that are missing or inaccurate you will receive an indicating which documents are missing or inaccurate. The permit status will be changed to Incomplete for CO which is visible on your dashboard. The request for CO will reviewed again in 3 business days allowing time for corrected documents to be uploaded to etrakit. Duplicate requests for the same address will be cancelled.
11 INCOMPLETE REVIEW SUBMITTAL If the building counter team receives a request for CO Review with documents that are missing or inaccurate you will receive an indicating which documents are missing or inaccurate.
