2 Zip Code Based Survey Pathways for firewood transport will be explored. Educational material will be distributed to parties identified in the firewood pathway supply chain. The zip code survey will be prioritized for campgrounds that received visitors from Worcester area zip codes in the last 5 years Data from the above survey will be used to target locations for outreach, particularly if potentially infested wood is transported to an uninfested site.
3 New York Department of Environmental Conservation surveyed >2200 trees at 37 campgrounds Focused on Adirondacks and Catskills Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation surveyed >800 trees at 32 campgrounds OPRHP plans on visiting 16 additional campgrounds in 2010
