1 Competition and Antitrust Law For many years, REDEKER SELLNER DAHS has been advising and representing German and international clients on German and European competition law matters. Our firm s experienced and highly specialised lawyers support clients in all competition law-related matters and transactions.
2 Practice Areas Our practice covers the entire spectrum of German and European competition law, including merger control, cartel proceedings before cartel offices and appellate courts, questions of abuse of dominant positions, legal compliance of horizontal and vertical agreements between undertakings, sector-specific competition law, civil litigation involving antitrust issues and private actions for cartel damage claims. Our firm advises and represents clients in proceedings before the German Federal Cartel Office, the European Commission, EU and national courts. With our offices in Bonn, Berlin and Brussels, we are present at the seats of the German Federal Cartel Office, the Euro pean Commission and the German and EU legislatures. Merger Control One important area of our practice is the preparation and conduct of merger control proceedings before the German Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission, as well as the coordination of international merger control proceedings. Our integrated teams advise German and international companies of all sectors and industries on complex M&A and corporate transactions. Cartel Office Proceedings and Antitrust Enforcement Actions One of our main areas of practice is advising and representing clients before the German Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission in cartel pro ceedings and antitrust enforcement actions. As proceedings of this nature often involve the interplay of antitrust, administrative and criminal law, we draw upon the expertise of colleagues specialised in admi nistrative and criminal law, depending on the requirements of the particular case. To avoid cartel proceedings and antitrust enforcement actions, we offer employee training programs and provide advice to companies on establishing and organising internal corporate compliance programmes. We also advise our clients on contracts, cooperation agreements, joint purchasing agreements, as well as distribution and licence agreements to ensure their compliance with competition law. Civil Antitrust Litigation We have special expertise and many years of experience litigating antitrust proceedings in the national and the EU courts. In addition, we advise and represent clients in civil litigation involving competition law issues and in cartel damage claims.
3 Our Clients We advise and represent a broad range of clients on antitrust/competition law matters, including German and international companies and associations from various sectors as well as public entities of the German federal government and of the German states (Länder).
