The Jersey partnership was established in 1972 and is one of the leading privately owned financial services firms in the Island of Jersey. Growth has been organic and predominantly through recommendations from those with whom we interact. Our primary objective is to provide a first-class service and build long-lasting relationships. Since we were established over 40 years ago, we have built the business into one of the leading privately owned financial services groups in Jersey. All our Jersey partners and directors are professionally qualified with accountancy, law, trust or company secretarial qualifications. A very high percentage of our staff are also professionally qualified. Our comprehensive range of trust and company services are provided by R&H Trust Co (Jersey) Limited, including full administration, accounting and tax services. Through our international network we can also administer trusts and companies set up under the governing laws of other jurisdictions. Our fund administration services are provided by R&H Fund Services (Jersey) Limited. We have a wealth of experience across a range of different structures and asset classes. We are consistently ranked as one of the leading independently owned fund administration businesses in Jersey. Growth has been predominantly through referrals and word of mouth, and as a result, we have relatively low market-place visibility. However, to be recognised as a leader in our two market sectors is a great achievement and is due to the quality of our people and the business philosophy upon which our firm has been built. The Jersey office is the largest of all of Rawlinson & Hunter s offices outside the UK. The Jersey business is owned and controlled by the Jersey partners. It has no outside shareholders and this provides us with the freedom to manage our business in our clients best interests. Our private ownership structure ensures we are not distracted by change of ownership issues and we strongly believe that our independence has never been more important. Our simple management structure facilitates flexibility and because we are not constrained by the unwieldy bureaucracy often associated with large financial institutions, we ensure we remain focussed on our clients needs.

How we work We take the time at the outset to truly understand our clients requirements and expectations so we get it right first time. Client relationships are built around a team approach so a partner is supported by a manager and an administration team. Our teams are assisted by in-house specialist groups (compliance, company secretarial, Jersey tax, banking, investment monitoring and accounts review). We have also developed all our computer applications in-house which helps us deliver our clients requirements more efficiently and gives the flexibility to adapt and make improvements as needed. We have the ability to deliver specialised IT services and bespoke solutions to our clients. We deliver timely and accurate management and financial accounting as well as tax compliance information for clients to provide to the relevant tax authorities. We are able to provide Jersey and UK tax advice and UK tax compliance support and our in-house tax department liaises with tax advisors in a number of jurisdictions, providing them with relevant information for tax reporting purposes. Corporate records are maintained at a level to achieve good standards of governance and we deploy significant resources to ensure compliance with domestic and international regulatory, legislative and administrative practices. We deal with a number of professional intermediaries (tax and legal advisers, bankers, fund managers and other institutions) from whom we can obtain specific advice and services for our clients.
