It s why we developed our proprietary MSDW and Maxsat processing catalysts to produce base stocks with exceptional performance. Our product integrity management system and the strict procedures we use to control our manufacturing process allow our base stocks to enable excellence in your lubricant formulation. With our new Group II+ EHC 45 and Group II EHC 65 base stocks, we have extended our commitment to enabling excellence. They are part of our global Group II slate for formulation and qualification of automotive lubricants. With base oil interchange (BOI) and viscosity-grade read-across (VGRA) capabilities, our EHC base stock slate offers broad blend coverage and simplified qualification testing across the globe. This slate was designed with the low-temperature properties, volatility and viscosities needed to cover a wide range of 5W to 15W engine oils. EHC 45 is designed for blending 5W and heavier passenger car motor oils. EHC 65 is ideal for heavy-duty engine oils and optimizes 15W-40 blending by minimizing the need for additional higher-viscosity components while maintaining low volatility. Together, they enable important emerging grades such as heavy-duty W-30. Both EHC 45 and EHC 65 meet the industry s evolving engine specification requirements, providing quality you can depend on today and tomorrow.

2 Enabling wide blending coverage The extraordinary value of EHC 45 and EHC 65 is best realized by blending them together. When blended, they simplify formulations while providing viscosity coverage for the most popular engine oil blends at lower costs. With EHC 45 and EHC 65, you can meet the viscometric and volatility requirements of multiple engine oil grades without using Group III. This outstanding capability provides blenders with increased flexibility and a broader blending range with low volatility while eliminating the need for Group III. 3 Enabling a wider manufacturing window EHC 45 and EHC 65 base stocks, when compared with the current EHC 45 and EHC 60, can be used to formulate engine oils with improved CCS-Noack relationships. 4 Enabling viscometrics of dexos without Group III With the new EHC 45/EHC 65, blenders can meet the viscometric/volatility requirements of dexos 5W-30 without the need for Group III. Blenders will have a broader manufacturing window to profitably produce oil with these requirements. Our EHC 45 and EHC 65 blends meet the current and anticipated requirements for HDEO W-30 without the need for Group III and can provide a broader blend window than Group II/Group III blends.

5 Enabling HDEO 15W-40 without heavy neutral Group II By using our EHC 65 in place of EHC 60, HDEO 15W-40 formulators minimize the need for a heavy neutral Group II to achieve high-quality performance.
