The provided systems and facilities, from small to large scale capacities, are effective and proven. The most effective process and technologies used, include different types of filtration and membrane systems including: Pre-filtration; Ultra Filtration; Nano Membrane Filtration; Reverse Osmosis Membrane Filtration. The custom manufactured systems with their selected components are to fit client s specific need-areas

4 Technologies used in the systems Particle filtration: mechanical operation used for the separation of solids from fluids using socks, sand, carbon, glass etc. Microfiltration: fluid is passed through.1 to 10µm pore sized membrane to remove undesirable contaminates and is used with other filtration processes. Ultrafiltration: membrane filtration with.01 to.1µm pore sizes and can be used for removal of bacteria Nanofiltration: membrane used to process low TDS water through pore sizes from.001 to.01µm Reverse Osmosis:.0001 applied pressure to overcome osmotic pressure, a colligative property resulting in pure water. Micrometer = 1x10-6 meter (µm) commonly referred to as a micron

6 Sources for Water Production & Waste Water Examples of major sources of water for drink water production are: Seawater Lake water River water Brackish LONATREX Well water Examples of major sources of wastewater are: Oil production facilities; Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD); Natural gas wells (Frac flow back water); Water generated from oil & gas operations, i.e. disposal ponds; Blowdown water; Industrial wastewater

7 Waste Water Treatment Industrial wastewater is a major concern and must be treated prior to use or releasing into the environment. The provided systems secure the wastewater treatment according to the client s most effective requirement and regulatory standards Because water is used as a base fluid in drilling and in oil & gas operations and production, much consideration should be taken into account for wastewater treatment and the reuse of treated wastewater. These concerns include the source of the water, transporting it, treating it for production, and the decision to dispose of or reuse/recycle the wastewater. The final decision requires that several factors are met to achieve a cost effective solution for wastewater.
