2 STATIC - PORTABLE - CONTAINERISED - RETROFIT - MODULAR We offer a complete skid & truck mounted or containerised plant for the production of drinking or process water. These units can be built to be either electrically or thermally powered, this is subject to site conditions and daylight availability. Puricare specialise in the application of UV and Ozone technology. We have more than 20 years experience in this field and offer - Planning, Supply and Construction of Modular Water Purification Plants of any size. Manufacture and Supply of Packaged (Containerised) Water Purification Plants up to l/day. Manufacture and Supply of Specialised Filtration Units for removal of heavy metals at Boreholes. Final Sterilisation Units for the removal of Waterborne Bacteria such as Cholera and E-Coli. Containerised Filtration Units for the removal of Fluoride from Borehole Water.
3 Containerised Water Purification Containerised Plants : Containerised plants include coagulation or flocculation, Ultra Violet and Ozone dosing followed by pressure Maddox, Silica and Activated Carbon filtration, polishing to 5 or 10 micro cartridge filters. Activated Oxygen (Ozone) and UV are well known disinfecting methods which are used to eliminate: Bacteria Algae Fungi Color Pesticides Trihalomethanes In a Maddox filtration process it will remove heavy metals, irons and other pollutants from water. Treated water meets SANS standards for drinking water quality.

15 Water Purification Process: Filtration
16 Water Conditioners: We manufacture water conditioning systems for the treatment of hard water. The plants help prevent scale build up, inhibits mineral precipitation on the inner side of the pipes, prevents pipes, water heaters and fixtures corroding. Water system alters the crystalline behaviour of Calcium and Magnesium ions. These ions lose its ability to cause adhesive scale. Problems like bad odour, poor taste and reduced water pressure can easily be addressed by these plants.
