Mini The Mini squeeze filter is a high performance mini filter which fits in the palm of your hand, weighs 57 gram, and filters up to 400,000 liters (30 times more than comparable filters). It attaches to the included drinking pouch, standard disposable water bottles, hydration packs, or use the straw to drink directly from your water source. 2. Standard The standard squeeze Filter is the lightest and most versatile filtration system on the market. With a total field weight of 85 gram and ability to roll up, it takes up virtually no space in your pack. Life expectancy: 4 million liters guaranteed. If viruses are an issue, we offer the 0.02 micron purifier (0.02 micron absolute pores), the first and thus far only portable purification device to physically remove viruses, which it does at a >5.5 log ( %) rate, exceeding EPA and NSF recommendations. Six reasons for Armed Forces to issue the squeeze water filter as part of a soldiers standard operational equipment. 1. Currently if a soldier drinks contaminated water, he will rapidly become out of action as a soldier, and also become a burden to his unit. There is the potential cost to the mission, and the inevitable cost of Medevac ing him for medical treatment. 2. Soldiers are issued with chemical tablets for treating their water. This makes the water safe to drink, but gives it a nasty taste, and leaves dirt and/or debris in the water. This makes soldiers reluctant to drink until it is absolutely necessary, therefore causing them to become dehydrated and not operating to the best of their ability. 1. There is a huge logistical cost in both manpower and cash involved in providing drinking water to frontline troops. 2. There are many theatres worldwide where water is plentiful on the ground, but is unsafe to drink. 3. Current filtration systems in use are large, heavy, expensive, and require maintenance and regular filter replacements. 4. The system offers a lightweight, versatile, nil maintenance and cost effective solution.

Military and disaster relief water filtration and purification units 2000DM The 2000DM is the most compact, versatile, full featured, computer controlled, energy efficient, mobile reverse osmosis system available today. All internal mechanical systems are mounted on a strong lightweight aluminum frame enclosed in a ruggedized military style case. The 2000DM utilizes water sources ranging from fresh surface or well water to heavy sea (salt) water. This versatility comes from a unique pumping and injection system, with a variable recovery rate, producing the maximum product flow from the feed water. Capacity Fresh water: 7500 liters per day Salt water: 5500 liters per day The energy required to operate the 2000DM is less than 1500 watts and is fully operational on 90/250VAC Hz; or from a 24 to 28 VDC power source, the same used on military vehicles. Cables for both AC and NATO DC plug are provided with each system. The complete system operates on any of the small 2 KW or larger JP8 fueled military generators, or a small commercial generator. The 2000DM automatically adjusts power demand to maximize efficiency. Energy efficiency is aided by the exclusive use of the patented second generation Energy Recovery Device ER Pump, allowing the system to produce drinking water at a substantial reduction of the energy used by a conventional RO purification system. The ER Pump allows working pressure up to 1200 psi for operation in heavy salt water conditions. Power and microprocessor controlled circuitry are housed in a compact, easily removed, Electronic Control Drawer ECD that features push button controls and a large LCD function display. The ECD monitors operations with audible and visual alarms and automatic shut down if necessary. The 2000DM provides manual override controls for easy service; or operates in a basic mode if the computer controller fails. An Electronic Pre-treatment Module EPM induces a small charge on impurities present in the feed water. This aids in keeping the impurities from attaching to the membrane surface, greatly reducing biological growth and mineral scale. Additionally, the automatic flush

8 system adds substantially to the service life of the system by reducing corrosion and biological fouling. The custom 1200 psi membrane pressure vessels are easily removed for membrane replacement and the high pressure hoses are oversized for better efficiency. Interconnecting plumbing is made of easily removable sub-assemblies with cam-lock connectors. All the valves and half of the sensors are part of these assemblies. Removal of the Filter Housings and the plumbing assemblies provide easy access to the pumps. All of the pumps and motors are replaceable without removing the frame from the case. An activated carbon Post Filter conditions the product water removing any unwanted after taste. A UV ultraviolet exposure unit kills or inactivates any possible microbes and viruses. Both self contained devices are mounted on custom shock absorbing fixtures protecting them from damage under harsh handling. EXTENDED USE ACCESSORY PACKAGES are available to include expendables and spare parts. 3300M The 3300M water purifier supplies to liter per day (about 500 liter per hour) of highly purified water from virtually any nonsaline water source. Water can be drawn from ditches, ponds, rivers, lakes or standing water that may contain chemical and/or biological contamination. Dimensions Standing 81cm x 58cm x 50cm and weighing just under 50 kilo. Designed to be carried by 2 soldiers and once on the ground rolled into place. The primary Support Case is under 43 kilo. The Purification Process and General Information Two Stage Filtration; Stage one removes sand, dirt and very fine particles. Stage two removes harmful microorganisms such as paramecium, amoeba, giardia, cryptosporidium and other small matter down to 1 micron in size. Water Treatment The replaceable multi-media water canister effectively treats liter of surface water containing high levels of manmade pollutants such as solvents, insecticides and petrochemicals and other contaminants such as lead, barium, and selenium. When used to eliminate possible microbial contamination in clear water, the canister may be used for up to liter. The 3300M is most effective when the flow rate does not exceed 9 liter per minute.

9 Disinfecting The ultraviolet (UV) lamp system is rated at 18 liter per minute; significantly higher than required by US regulatory agencies and exceeds the World Health Organization s standards for total disinfection. UV is much faster acting than chlorine and has been found to destroy 99.99% of all bacteria and viruses found in water, such as e-coli, cholera, typhoid, anthrax and polio. Power Source Operates on single phase 90 to 260 volts AC at 50 or 60 hertz as well as 10 to 30 volts DC, virtually any power source. The maximum power consumption is less than 200 watts. Run time on a fully charged battery alone is 2 to 3 hours. The Military version comes standard with a NATO 24-volt DC power cable. Pressure The whisper-quiet, variable-speed, self-priming, low-voltage pump draws water up to 12 feet providing water on demand at pressures between 10 and 45 pounds per square inch (PSI). This is highly desirable when filling containers or pumping through a manifold. Using quick connects and knobs, no wiring or tools are required to change the pump. Triple Mode Display A digital display shows the volume of water passing through the system, total run time of the filter canister, and the total run time of the UV exposure unit. Safety Features The operating and monitoring components are designed with a two-stage protective shutdown system. First, the overall system automatically shuts down in the event of a failure in the disinfecting process. Secondly, a valve closes, stopping more water from passing through the system. Support Case The basic Extended Use Support Case includes accessories, expendables and spare parts. ASPEN 1800BC The ASPEN 1800 brief case and/or backpack water purification systems will supply up to 6800 liters per day (280 liter per hour) of highly purified water from virtually any non-saline

10 water source. Water can be drawn from ditches, ponds, rivers, lakes or standing water that may contain chemical and biological contamination. The Purification Process Two Stage Filtration. The first stage removes dirt and large particles through an external screen. The second stage removes harmful microorganisms such as paramecium, amoeba, giardia, cryptosporidium and other small matter down to 1 micron in size. Water Treatment. The replaceable multi-media water canister effectively treats liters of surface water containing contaminants such as lead, barium, selenium and arsenic prior to replacement. It also removes high levels of manmade pollutants such as solvents, insecticides and petrochemicals. When used to eliminate possible microbial contamination in clear water, the canister may be used for up to liters. The 1800 is most effective when the flow rate does not exceed 4.7 liters per minute. This unit has a self-monitoring flow system that governs its own flow rate. Disinfecting. The monitoring components are designed with a two-stage protective shutdown circuit. The system will automatically shuts down in the event of a failure in the disinfecting process. In addition, the pump stops and a valve will close, stopping any more water from passing through the system. Post Treatment. Water to be stored should be treated with sodium hypochloride (chlorine) or hydrogen peroxide. (Both are easy to use.) Dimensions. The BC unit is 60cm X 50cm X 35cm and weighs 30kg. The BP unit is 53cm X 45cm X 25cm and the approximate dry weight is just over 22kg. Accessory packages are available for either unit.

This unit is easily attached to your indoor plumbing and comes pre-constructed with an efficient PVC back-washing system. It removes all harmful contaminants before they reach your faucet, allowing you to confidently use your faucet water for drinking, cooking, cleaning, and more. NRO Fusion System The NRO Fusion system is combining standard (passive and active) filter techniques with high pressure nano membrane filters which are easy to replace and are patented. The nano fibers have a relatively large surface area which allows for a higher absorption rate of various constituents for improving water quality, a higher acid/basic and temperature resistance, environmental friendliness, and longer membrane life span and flexibility which enables the membrane to be formed into various membrane modules for larger commercial application. Due to the high effectiveness of the membrane filter essential minerals and nutritions are retained in the water. This makes the system cost-efficient as it is no longer necessary to repeat the filtering process until water is ready for consumption. Moreover, the system can be provided with PV solar power energy panels, making it a complete sustainable solution for domestic, (light) commercial and agricultural use. To conclude, the NRO fusion system is a unique system as it combines standard filter techniques with high pressure patented nano membrane filters, resulting in efficient water treatment. The investment level of the NRO fusion system is relatively low, making the system affordable for many users.
