Not-so SSO still requires removal of contamination 5. Limited participation - organics still in the garbage

14 14 Organics-to-Energy Process Steps 1. Organic Fraction (and remaining Recyclables) are extracted from garbage through MSW Sorting 2. Organic Fraction is processed through extraction press to create a clean Organic Slurry 3. The Organic Slurry is transported SVCW for Wet Anaerobic Digestion 4. BioGas is recovered & converted to electricity for use by the WWTP or BioCNG for collection trucks
