5 MYOB Payroll Export Before you can run the MYOB export, your System Administrator must configure at least one Labour Agreement and validate it to the corresponding Departments. This is required so that Pay Tables can be validated for the Labour Agreement and for the Department. Keep in mind that statutory holidays must be validated for the agreements to which they apply. Employees who have that labour agreement defined for their departmental registration are considered to be delivering statutory holiday service for visits that have a start date on that holiday. 5 of 11

6 Statutory Holidays Your System Administrator must validate Statutory Holidays for the Labour Agreements to which they apply. Employees who have that Labour Agreement defined for their Department Registration are considered to be delivering Statutory Holiday service for visits that have a Start Date on that holiday. 6 of 11

7 Pay Records Your System Administrator must define pay information for your employees in tables where multiple pay levels can be created. Pay levels are then assigned to employees as part of the departmental setup in their employee record. When pay levels are assigned, they reference the Pay Records that are stored in the master table. Because only master Pay Records should be set up, it is important to deny access to the Employee Pay Information tab on the Employee Information form in order to reduce confusion. Description (a general description of the pay record) Pay Service Type (must be defined for each Pay Record) (for Regular visits, the Pay Record Selection Logic can be applied to match with Billing Service Types; for payable Attendance Types a separate Pay Record and associated Pay Service Type can be created so the other properties can be configured to give the correct instruction to MYOB for Attendance Type payroll) Cost Centre (used to determine the Payroll Tax eligibility from Procura) (these values will be created in the Procura PAYCOSTCENT lookup table and will be selected in each pay record) Position (tells Procura whether or not to export this Pay Record as part of the Employee Export) (to allow the saving of each pay record, set to Default ) Pay Code, Pay Rate and Value (set up one Pay Rate Code called "Default' with a value of 0.00) Units (set to Per Unit for hourly service and for Travel KM/Expenses) (flat fee records will be set up as Per Visit Pay Units) Pay Code, Pay Rate and Value (set up one Pay Rate Code called "Default' with a value of 0.00) Units (set to Per Unit for hourly service and for Travel KM/Expenses) (flat fee records will be set up as Per Visit Pay Units) 7 of 11

8 The MYOB Premier Payroll Export Form The MYOB Premier Payroll Export form enables you to use an export utility to export your payroll records into the MYOB Accounting program. Keep in mind that you must complete Timekeeping activities prior to running this export. Range Start and Range Stop (the range of dates you want to work with) (activates a table from which you can choose the departments you want to work with) Payroll ID: (the employee reference that corresponds to the EMP CARD ID field) (an Employee Reference Number will be created to store this code to maintains the link between the Procura employee record and that of the payroll application) 8 of 11

9 Display Results When Done (opens the Validation report or the Export Results report after the validation or export is complete) File Name (the name by which you want your export to be saved) Path (the location in which you want your export to be stored) Export (starts the export process) Validate (creates a report that enables the user to check for fields that are required in the export layout) 9 of 11

10 To Run the MYOB Premier Payroll Export 1. Go to Imports/Exports Payroll MYOB Payroll Export. The MYOB Premier Payroll Export form displays. 2. From the Range Start and Range Stop drop-down boxes, specify the range of dates you want to work with. 3. In the Departments table, click the checkboxes that correspond to the departments you want to work with. 4. From the Payroll ID drop-down box, select the field you want to work with. 5. In the File Name textbox, type the name you want to assign to the export file. 6. Click the button at the end of the Path textbox and browse for the location in which you want your exported file stored. 10 of 11

11 7. Click Validate to check for errors in the data. 8. When you are ready to export your data, click Export. 11 of 11
