13 SCOPE PROFILES There eight scope profiles defined for TickITplus with most being available in the initial release of the scheme (shown in red below). Profiles used to map in only those processes you actually need. 29 5. PROCESS REFERENCE MODEL So, what is a PRM? - Simply a mapping between the BPL processes and your own processes - Provides reference point for the assessment - You must have one! [CSR040] To do: 1. map your processes to the selected BPL processes 2. identify any gaps relating to missing or incomplete processes TIP: TickIT organisations should have very few or no gaps 3. fill any gaps 4. check everything is in order internal audits [CSR001020] Copyright

Nominate Sponsor define assessment purpose and budget Train Practitioners on scheme requirements and Process Assessments Create Assessment Strategy - Overview of org and structure, scope profile & target capability level - Improvement plan reference - Explanation of any unusual processes in PRM Create Process Reference Model from Base Process Library - Add any identified gaps to the Improvement Plan Create Process Assessment Model - Not required for Transition. - Can use worksheets for each Process for all other assessments Perform Internal Assessments using process assessment technique - Not a requirement for Foundation but required for Bronze Copyright
