5 Key Messages About The Strategic Plan 5 The plan is still based on the original work completed by the Chiefs and APC staff. The EDOs have been a part of the process at the AGS roundtables and in reviewing the draft revisions to the plan. These are updates to reflect the global, federal, provincial, and community work being done, and ensuring participation from the Atlantic Communities.
6 Our Goal 6 To gather the APC Member Community Feedback and develop the strength in the collective voice. To get ONE ATLANTIC VOICE out to Industry and Government. To express and promote what we are ready for, and where change needs to happen. Forward Thinking..

Review recommendations with EDOs to gather feedback at Strategic Connections Conference, September 12th, Review at All Chiefs Forum on September 28th, 2017.

12 The Changes This is an active document with: 12 Modified writing for retention Addition of a Performance Measures Section to offer ideas to member community projects to help monitor progress Shared Success Stories to show communities examples to help innovative thinking.
13 Recommendations Overview 13 Communications and Content Communications: Enhancing the Impact of the Regional APC Brand Strategic communication pillars Imagery and symbol messaging reinforcement Social Media hashtag to cultivate growth The language chosen was carefully crafted to attempt to respect and reflect the member communities past, present and future direction for sustainable economic development.
14 Key Messages The goals when changing the content of the strategy were to do the following: 14 Align the language for symmetry Align the Vision with the Guiding Principles: this is where we took the greatest liberty. We saw a tremendous amount of alignment between these two, but minor differences in the language, so we adjusted the Vision to match the Guiding Principles. Unified: wherever possible the benefit of economies of scale, collaboration, horizontal and vertical integration, partnerships and agreements were aspired.
