2 Definition Outputs PROJECT MAIN OUTPUTS Developed by applicants Programme output indicators Indiciated in the Programme Outputs directly result from activities of the Project. They are typically measured in physical or monetary units such as: number of meetings/seminars/training sessions, number of collaborative projects, number and type of reports/policy tools/written concepts, and many others Interreg Europe Glossary Immediate, measurable products of project, such as equipment, services, infrastructure, educations, events, plans, strategies, networks, etc. Correspond to the and are clearly linked to the Programme specific objectives. 4 PA 2 - Protecting the environment and nature, improving risk prevention and promoting sustainable energy and energy efficiency Jointly developed 3 biodiversity maps for better conservation status of habitats in cross border area in municipalities A, B and C covering 10 ha Surface area of habitats supported in order to attain a better conservation status (ha) (Target value 14) Equipped firefighting team (1) for joint interventions in cross border area in municipalities A, B and C covering 150 km2 15 new water-protection objects equiped with 15 water pumps installed in cities A, B and C (population ) Area covered by improved emergency preparedness and risk prevention systems (km2) (Target value 17) Population benefiting from flood protection measures (CI) (Target value ) Installation of 180 solar panels for electricity production on 30 public buildings in cities A, B and C with the total installed power of 3 MW Additional capacity of renewable energy production (MW) (Target value 32) 4

Number of joint tourism offers/products developed and/or implemented and promoted (Target value 23) 6 members of 3 hotels associations from HR, BA and ME obtained HACCP certificates Number of tourism providers with (international) certifications and standards (Target value 10) 3 visitor centres in 3 national parks in HR, BA and ME are renovated Number of tourism supporting facilities and/or tourism infrastructure developed and/or improved (Target value 13) 5

6 PA 3 - Contributing to the development of tourism and preserving cultural and natural heritage Developed joint sustainable management plan (1) for nature parks A, B and C in HR, BA and ME Number of sustainable management plans for cultural and natural heritage sites developed and/or implemented (Target value 7) 45 staff members from cultural heritage museums from HR, BA and ME are trained in quality assurance systems and standardisation on cultural heritage management Number of participants trained in quality assurance, standardisation on cultural and natural heritage and destination management (Target value 343) On 3 archaeological sites in HR, BA and ME are made smaller infrastructure works for the purpose of conservation and receiving visitors Number of cultural and natural assets developed and/or improved (Target value 14) 6

8 Important to know The project main outputs contribute directly to the, which are aggregated at the Programme level. The indicators are vital to the efficient and effective implementation of the Programme. They serve to monitor and evaluate the extent to which the Programme has achieved its objectives and how efficiently. The Programme output and result indicators will measure the achievement of the Programme specific objectives: measure the achievement of the quantitative targets of the Programme. Result indicators measure the level of achievement of the intended positive change in the cooperation fields between the participating countries. The project main outputs are developed by he project partners in line with the Programme output indicators defined in the Cooperation Programme. Proposed project activities must be relevant for PA selected and lead to the achievement of project main outputs. The project main outputs should be sustainable and continue to be used after the end of the project lifetime. They intend to be applicable and replicable by other organisations regions/countries outside of the current partnership. 8
