2 Fall Semester Topic: Chapter Management Scheduled Dates & Locations: November 13, Greensboro, NC (Western) November 22, Smithfield, NC (Eastern) Training Results: Both training dates were cancelled due to low registration numbers and/or failure to secure facility Lessons Learned: Secure training dates and facilities earlier in year Increase marketing efforts 2008 Training Activity
3 Establish a Training for Leadership Program Committee consisting of a Chair, Vice Chair with 7 9 members A list of all Brothers attending the workshop training meetings will be updated annually and maintained by the Keeper of Records of each Chapter. The Training Committee should make every effort to minimize expenses in arranging the Workshop Training Meetings. Workshop Facilitators should be recommended by the Chair and Vice Chair with approval by the MEP Board of Directors. Proposed members: Joe K. Davis, Melvin Pierce, Harold Bass, Wendell Andrews, Robert Muhammad, Bernard Reeves, Junior Vice Polemarch, an undergraduate member, and Damond Nollan. Send out survey to membership seeking top three issues Analyze survey results Select subject areas for the training with input and direction from the MEP Board of Directors Secure facilitators, training locations, and dates Schedule a minimum of four sessions annually to be held in four geographical locations within the MEP. It is suggested that two training meetings be scheduled in the fall and two scheduled in the spring of each Kappa Calendar year Action Plan
