Queensland Rail provides a twice weekly passenger rail service to Charleville on the Westlander with connections to Quilpie and Cunnamulla. Coach services connect travellers to Brisbane, Mount Isa, Rockhampton and interstate. It has road links to other towns in the region of Cunnamulla, Quilpie, Thargominda and Augathella.
