1 GAMIFICATION FOR EMPLOYEE SUCCESS Calculating Your Employment Engagement ROI

2 Extensive research has shown that highly engaged employees lead to higher business results. At the same time, disengaged employees cost companies billions in lost productivity. Engaged companies grow profits as much as 3X faster than their competitors 1. Disengaged employees cost the American economy up to $350 billion per year due to lost productivity 2. But what does that mean to your company? How do you show the benefits of increasing employee engagement in your organization? Companies using Badgeville have seen a broad range of benefits. Accelerating learning and development Accelerating learning and development is especially important in this rapidly changing information economy, as people need to continue to refresh their skills. 15% of hiring managers said nearly all or most job seekers had the skills and traits their companies look for 5. To close this gap and give people the best odds of keeping their careers on track companies are providing tools to be successful. But how do you motivate people to embrace life long learning? Like everyone else, salespeople want to feel they are growing professionally and meeting their goals. The employees are having fun competing with each over for bragging rights and leadership recognition. They have twice as many users completing their profiles, a thirteen percent increase in usage, and almost a third more employee replies to threads.
