3 Background of Construction Sector Construction sector, one of the high risk industries in Singapore Need to emphasise constant efforts in enhancing WSH standards 3

4 WSH Performance in Construction General improvement over the years but limited since

19 Conclusion Outcome Early indication of success in improving WSH performance and reducing fatality rate Continue with special emphasis on the construction sector Aim To achieve WSH 2018 Vision Situation WSH performance of Construction sector can be further improved, highest number of fatalities Falling from height and crane related accidents as top contributors to the fatalities 19
