8 Competitive Assessments When evaluating LED fixture products for a particular application, efficacy and price must be considered. But other items need to be considered too: High surge withstand can invaluable in industrial applications. The BLC48 is equipped with a 6kV rating! High humidity & temperature fluctuations typical of unconditioned spaces can result in moisture damage. The BLC48 is equipped with conformal coated LEDs! Elevated ambient temperature ratings are achieved by fixtures with potentially costly cooling methods. Be sure price comparisons are made to adequately rated fixtures. If temperature is important, be sure to include the price of the HA option Please seek assistance from the FAE team or PM team when help is needed positioning this, or any other product, within a competitive framework. Prepare for this discussion by assembling as much application and incumbent detail as possible. 8

10 Additional Features & Options Emergency back up option (EM where applicable): An integrated solution providing 90 minute emergency back up Basic Option 10 Watt (~1200 lumens delivered) for 90 minutes Other options may be available by ETO if needed Best handled by the lighting designer to ensure code See Universal Product Manager if unclear. All new fixtures are dimmable The fixtures use EVERLINE linear-type LED drivers. 0-10V diming is standard. Requires two low-voltage wires for dimming control, typically violet and gray. Future accessories will include Bluetooth wireless sensor & controls devices from Douglas Lighting Controls Future features and accessories Cord and plug accessories will be added when permitted by the availability of Class P LED drivers 10

11 5-Day Production Planning Expect a fast 5-day lead time for shipping fixtures 5 Days - means from order entry to shipment of fixture. There are no initial plans for stocking finished fixtures Future stocking may be a possibility based on sales patterns. Universal is stocking raw material to support production Stocking the raw materials provides flexibility to produce all SKUs. Minimum order quantities All BLC48 high bay fixtures have a five piece MOQ Exception: Single piece orders will be accepted for fixtures with the EM option 11

12 Prepaid Freight Policy Universal has long led the industry in freight policies. Our current shipping policy will apply to the BLC48 product family. Three freight scenarios: Core Only - will not change and will include all core products that you currently order. Fixture Only new: fixture prepay limits will apply Combined Order fixture prepay limits will apply. Note: a customer can mix core & fixture products on a single order to reach the prepay minimum. In instances where a pre-paid minimum is not met, the customer will pay shipping and handling (same as they would today for our standard shipping policy). Please note we will maintain a strict MOQ policy on fixtures. A list of products which fall under Fixtures has been provided to you BLC48 is now included. 13 Fixture Samples For Demonstration PRE-LAUNCH AGENTS: Universal has recently mailed agent samples (at least one) to each agency based on a vetted list provided by your RSM to Operations. Est Ship Date: Week of Aug 21 st RSMS: All RSMs will receive one of each of the fixture samples. Use these samples for field demonstrations / sales tools. For questions about your fixture sample quantities, please contact your RSM. POST LAUNCH To request fixture samples after the official launch (Week of Aug 14 th ), please start the conversation with your RSM. 13
