Thermal Management: poor design regarding heat will lower LED s lumen output over rated life. Accurate Rated Life: Lifetime is a factor of power supply drive factor and thermal management. If a poor design applies high forward current to LED, this will cause increased degradation Colour Variance: LED s possess inherent colour variations within bins. The higher the level of colour consistency achieved = higher cost.
