2 MMX EASY TRANSPORT AND MOVING COST REDUCTION After over 45 years of experience in design and production of batching and mixing plants, the new SIMEM MMX mobile plant evolves the concept of transportability and is an improvement to the concept of wheels: streamlining the plants overall dimensions to allow transport with generic vehicles, which do not require special permits, the new SIMEM MMX mobile allows easy and economic transport. The aggregate module can be completely transported by one vehicle; in the transport configuration, the hopper walls and loading ramp containing walls collapse into the aggregate module for easy stowing during transport. Due to the patented movement system for the mixer, the mixing and dosing module is transported as one unit with dimensions that allow for the use of standard equipment. EASY, FAST ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY The support structures of the aggregate and mixer modules are all pre-assembled, pre-wired and automated: thus, it is extremely easy and fast to configure the modules from the transport to the working position. The mixing and dosing module movement from transport to work position is fully automated by the use of hydraulic and pneumatic actuators. Having fixed frames containing the equipment also gives the advantage of a complete pre-wiring and pre-plumbing reducing the operations during the install to a minimum.

3 MMX stands for Mobile Mixing excellence, and represents in Roman Numerals the year 2010, which is the year SIMEM has officially launched the state of the art of super mobile batching plants, worldwide! Two patents for industrial property referring to the moving mechanism of the mixer and chassis hood-scales were acquired by SIMEM in 2009, clearly establishing the innovation in the MMX. Thanks to these inventions, the concrete batching and mixing plants can ensure an hourly output capacity of 130 cubic meters of high quality concrete, and have a structure that allows for easy transport with generic vehicles, which make special permit requirements unnecessary. Minimal installation time and cost factors are again proving SIMEM s ongoing record with the introduction of this new range of super mobile plant. The MMX allows for any kind of on-site concrete production, even for small volume projects.

4 MODULAR CONCEPT The aggregate module is made with a modular concept and can therefore be made expandable by adding additional modules as a priority to expand the number of hoppers available and therefore the types of aggregates. Regarding the storage capacity of aggregates, you can switch easily from the basic configuration of 80 cubic meters to the configuration of 180 cubic meters. NO CIVIL WORKS Bulkheads below the aggregate module have a double function: Supporting the aggregate module due to large areas of support: thus, it is possible to use the module without the need of civil works; Act as restraints for the items loading ramp for aggregate feeding. EASY MAINTENANCE Access to the mixer is made easy thanks to a patented system of rails and hydraulics that moves the weighing devices: when a thorough cleaning of the mixer is necessary, it s possible to move the weighing devices from the work to the transport position, making accessible the internal part of the mixer for a more thorough cleaning or the changing of wear parts.

5 OPTIMIZED TRUCK MIXER CHARGE The MMX 5000 plant is equipped with a twin shaft mixer that produces 3,33 m 3 of compacted concrete, and is able to guarantee 130 m 3 per hour through 40 cycles: with a batch size of 3,33 m 3 the plant is optimized for loading of 10 m 3 trucks DURABILITY The performance of the New Simem MMX are granted for many years due to the oversized structures that are fully hot-dip galvanized, and through the use of high quality pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical components.
