27 Why Open Data is so Important If we have extensive and freely available data sets, medical researchers are much better positioned to identify underlying causes of preterm birth and effective treatments for them.

33 What You Can Do to Be More Open For your work: Edit, review or work for open journals Publish open access - Share preprints, post publication & share your work Use Open Access tools - There are so many amazing tools facilitating open practices just ask me! Cite openly available work Share your data: raw, processed, underlying or otherwise - Give it context share your code
