1 Flat Roller Cage is a precision linear motion rolling guide consisting of a high accuracy cage and very precise rollers and features very low sectional height. In this series, oth single row type and doule row type with a 90 angle are availale. The cage material is steel or synthetic resin. 3 oad Rating 7 Roller selection Tolerances of the roller diameter of Flat Roller Cage are shown in Tale. Any standard tolerance class rollers will e supplied unless otherwise specified. For a uniform load distriution, Flat Roller Cages with the same range of roller tolerance (the same selection code) are recommended for assemly. When the particular tolerance ranges are required, add its selection code onto the identification numer. 4 1 Mating raceways Precautions for Use Recommended surface hardness and roughness of mating raceways are shown in Tale 3, and also recommended minimum effective hardening depth of the raceways is shown in Tale. For V-Flat configuration where the flat and the 90angle surfaces are present ither and WVA types or V and WA types are assemled after accurately lapping the raceways of ed and tale on each other as shown in Fig. 3. The cominations of Flat Roller Cages are shown in Tale. 5 3 Stroke length and cage length When the tale or ed is stroked in linear direction, Flat Roller Cage moves 1/ distance of the stroke length of the tale or ed in the same direction as shown in Fig.. Therefore, the relationship among the raceway length, the stroke length and the cage length is given as in the following formula.
