3 5 Brief Introduction of SQ Foundry Coatin FQ series Alcohol based Foundry Coatins are applicable in various rades of resin bonded, sodium silicate-bonded and clay-bonded sand moulds etc., and suitable for production of various types of metal castins. Excellent thixotropy and levellin property, no brush marks. Good suspension properties, easy to handle Low as yield, reducin as hole defect. Easy to inite and burn well, no bubble or crack hih strenth. Good anti- burn-on properties, ood surface finish, easy to clean USING GUIDE Open the pail or drum, mix the coatin round with portable blender or other tools and then measure viscosity with the baumer meter. Coatin density and viscosity should be adjusted by dilution to match the application method, then it can be applied. Blow away the remainin sand on the sand mould surface. Apply the coatins on the sand mould surface evenly with the principle From upper to bottom, from left to riht. Make sure the coat thickness even, or it is easy to have bubble and crack on the thick spot while the sand stick may happen on the thin spot. The coat thickness usually varies from mm. Take note of the initin timin accordin to the size of sand mould and coatin time, for small one it can be inited after applyin all coatins while for bi one it can be applied and inited partially. In winter, rill un can be used for partial bakin if burnin is insufficient, then do the pourin. (Application method for coatins): brushin, dippin, sprayin, and flow coatin(flow coat). CAUTIONS Products should be stored at room temperature. Alcohol based coatin must be kept away from fire and heat source. STORAGE Store in place of ood ventilation, keep away from heat resource. 6 months of shelf life.
