1 LSA: Exempt Title: BIE DESCIPTI: The purpose of this position is to develop and manage a comprehensive risk management program for TMS investments at the total portfolio as well as asset class and manager levels, to ensure that the TMS investments are being managed in a prudent manner in accordance with state statutes and TMS investment policy. Exerting lbs. occasionally; lbs. frequently; or up to Exerting over 100 lbs. occasionally; lbs. frequently; or up to # Code Essential unctions 1 S Identify risks attributable to the investment program. 2 S Develop a comprehensive risk management structure (governance risk, implementation risk, operational risk, internal controls, etc. 3 S Develop risk systems and processes to facilitate monitoring of investment program risks. 4 S Identify and develop resources necessary to implement risk systems and processes. 5 S Develop compliance monitoring system and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable state statutes, TMS Investment Policy, and vendor contracts including consultant contracts and investment management agreements. 6 S versee implementation of risk management activities. 7 S Identify risks inherent in specific asset classes, strategies, and implementation methods to assist the CI in portfolio decisions. 8 S Participate in development of the investment program strategic planning initiatives, asset allocation reviews, and asset class strategy. 9 S Assist in preparing materials for Board meetings. 10 S Handle special projects and other tasks as required.
