9 Clima East Policy: Goals Supports the partner countries to: deliver on commitments under UNFCCC agreements and engage effectively in international negotiations develop, fine-tune and implement climate change mitigation and adaptation policies and align them with EU approaches strengthen capacity for strategic planning with regard to mitigation, including the development of low-carbon strategies strengthen capacity for strategic planning with regard to adaptation, including capacity for vulnerability and impact assessments
