Many think of it in terms of the degree to which we are preserving our planet. One way to accomplish this is to reduce our carbon footprint. The carbon footprint is thought of as the amount of carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) and green house gases released into the atmosphere by human activity or a product lifecycle. By switching to LED, the amount of CO 2 emitted is drastically reduced. In addition, since LEDs are mercuryfree and contain no hazardous materials they are environmentally safe and recyclable. Energy Savings Saving energy is an important factor for many communities and decision makers. LED lighting offers one of the highest energy savings of any lighting source on the market. In comparison to high intensity discharge (HID) lamps, LED luminaires could save up to 50% in energy consumption. Warranty and Life Standard Philips Gardco warranty for LED products including the FX1 and FX2 LED flood light is 5 years extended (consult factory for warranties exceeding 5 years). Based on insitu thermal testing and data from Philips Lumileds and Philips Advance, life expectancy of the FX1 and FX2 can be expected to reach 80,000 hours (at >L70 lumen 25 C).

5 Flood Light Versatility Direct Yoke Mount The Direct Yoke Mount Option includes a 7/8 diameter center hole in the yoke, located under the driver box, for wiring and mounting to a 1/2-13 NPS x 1.0 long threaded nipple with locking nut (threaded nipple and locking nut not included). Tenon Mount The Tenon Mount Option includes a cast aluminum adaptor, cast from low-copper aluminum alloy, for mounting to a 2.38 diameter, vertical tenon (2 standard pipe). The FX1 and FX2 floods utilize single-clamp and dual-clamp mounting systems respectively. Mounting clamps are made from HSLA steel and are zinc plated to protect against corrosion. Wall Mount The Wall Mount Option is similar to the Direct Yoke Mount with the addition of a secondary, laser-cut aluminum mounting plate. The secondary mounting plate includes (4) 1/2 diameter holes for mounting to a wall surface and will cover a standard 4 x 4 square electrical junction box. 5/16 hex head lag bolts, or similar, can be used to secure fixture to wall surface (mounting fasteners not included). Aluminum mounting plate and yoke include a 7/8 diameter center hole, located under the driver box, for wiring. Note: All FX1 and FX2 floods are field rotatable by 10 increments (180 backwards and 90 forward) on a yoke which is formed from ¼ thick, laser-cut aluminum sheet.

(<3Kv built into drivers) Performance The FX1 and FX2 LED Flood Light is a sleek contemporary design with precision designed injection molded optics. The six different optic plates and three mounting options provide versatility for use in many outdoor lighting applications. The FX1 and FX2 uses the Philips LEDGINE platform which maximizes energy savings and provides uniform and comfortable white light. The FX1 and FX2 LED Flood Light is a great solution for new installations as well as retrofit applications. Spot - The spot optic creates an approximate beam angle of 15. The spot distribution can be applied to situations where higher light levels are required for small, confined sited. Typical applications include accent lighting, tall facades, column grazing and flag poles. Wide - The wide optic creates an approximate beam angle of 115. This distribution pattern is ideal for general floodlighting applications where broad, even illumination is required over a large area. Typical applications include ground mounted, sign and facade lighting. Narrow - The narrow optic provides an approximate beam angle of 60. This distribution is ideal for store fronts and building facades. Horizontal - The horizontal optic is ideal is a wide elliptical pattern ideal for sign lighting and down lighting paths. This optic could also be used in facade lighting of buildings. Medium - The medium optic creates an approximate beam angle of 80. This distribution is ideal for multiple story buildings, monuments, storefronts and general area lighting. Forward Throw - The forward throw optic is suited for wall mounting applications as well as facade lighting of buildings.
