Deepen Financial Inclusion From Mobile Money to Agency Banking and Over-the-Counter (OTC) services Finc covers the full scope of Financial Inclusion through a simple user experience. Mobile Money Finc supports all Mobile Money services: Money Transfer, Bill Payment, Airtime Top-up, Cash-in, Cash-out, Bulk Disbursement, Merchant Payment, etc. Agency Banking Traditional agency banking services are available through an Ingenico smart terminal. Agents enroll unbanked people in the system and offer them the full-service portfolio, including account management, credits, savings and insurances. OTC services Agents initiate securely financial services on the smart terminal upon their customers request (such as paying bills, buying airtime and sending money), to serve the unbanked until they are familiar with electronic transactions. Overcome market constraints To ensure the program can be adapted to each market, consumers and agents may use various communication channels. Lack of Financial Education Because the un(der)banked need easy-to-use banking services, agents are equipped with smart terminals to help their customers manage their account or initiate transactions until they are fully comfortable with the financial ecosystem. Mobile Network Dependency Several mobile operators often serve the market. To reduce network dependency, Ingenico Group uses the NSDT TM technology, a telco-agnostic channel that securely leverages the voice channel as an authentication mechanism. To make the service phone-agnostic, various channels are available (NSDT TM, ios and Android apps, SMS, USSD, Web Portal and IVR) turning any phone into a secure transaction tool. The user experience is designed by creating a dual-factor authentication among the following. Requirement 1: Someting you have Something you have must be a form-factor that the consumer feels comfortable using such as a mobile phone, a fingerprint, a bank card, a loyalty card or a login. Requirement 2: Something you know Something you know can be a PIN or a password the consumer remembers. As part of the account management, the customer can set it up after enrollment and reset it if needed.
