1 Welcome to JBS Carriers, Inc. Driver Orientation Welcome, JBS Carriers is excited you will be joining us for orienta9on and hope your experience is a posi%ve one. At this &me you should have received your travel arrangements to orienta(on. In addi$on, there are a few things you need to know.. JBS Carriers will pay for your travel to orienta(on. Typically we will fly you to Colorado however, if you prefer not to fly we can arrange for a bus to Colorado. If you elect another op#on of travel (such as a one way car rental) and get yourself here, JBS Carriers will reimburse you the amount of what a bus /cket would have cost us via a Comcheck at the end of orienta(on. While JBS Carriers covers the majority of your travel costs, transporta*on to the depar&ng airport/ bus terminal and checked baggage is the responsibility of the traveler. If you fail the preliminary post offer screen in orienta4on such as ERGO, the DOT Physical or background check we will send you home by the lowest price op6on available to JBS Carriers. However, if you fail the Pre-employment Drug Screen or falsify your applica&on you will be responsible for your own transporta1on home.

2 If you took the bus, remember the bus will have a transfer in Downtown Denver to Greeley, CO. It will not be branded Greyhound, but rather labeled as Arrow Stage Lines. This is the bus you will need to take to get to Greeley. The bus sta6on is located at Island Grove Regional Park. When you arrive at the bus sta0on, you will need to contact Yellow Cab for a transfer to the Cobblestone Hotel in Eaton. You can reach the cab company at Please keep a copy of your receipt for the cab ride to the hotel and we will reimburse you during orienta6on. JBS Carriers is proud to use the Cobblestone Inn & Suites located in Eaton, Co. at 485 S. Elm Road, Eaton, CO Reserva!ons: Please remember you are a guest of JBS Carriers and we expect professionalism. The hotel will provide a hot breakfast buffet every morning star+ng at 4:30 a.m. Monday and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, just for you JBS Carriers. Lunch will be provided by JBS Carriers. You are on your own for dinner. The JBS Shu)le van will depart for the terminal at 6:30 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and 5:45 on Thursday. ***There is to be NO consump3on of any alcoholic beverages during the dura%on of orienta%on. This policy is strictly enforced, and viola%on of this policy will lead to immediate dismissal of orienta2on and termina2on of employment with JBS Carriers.***

3 PAYROLL JBS Carriers currently offers direct deposit and has gone green with epayroll online. Be sure to bring a voided a check for your payroll. If you do not have a checking account, a check card will be available for you to have your payroll loaded on to. Road Drivers: remember that.10 of every mile is Per Diem pay. I-9 Documenta,on The Immigra+ons and Control Act of 1986 requires employers to verify that every new hire is eligible to be employed in the United States. As a result, we are required to examine document(s) that will verify eligibility to work in this country. Please select from the a;ached list and bring on document from List A or one each from List B and List C with you to orienta(on. Day 1 of Orienta.on Please be on *me and make sure you bring to class with you and selfemployment/unemployment documenta/on to sa/sfy the requirement for DOT on your Driver Applica'on. If you are prescribed medica'on for any condi'on, be sure you are taking your meds as prescribed. Do not forget to have your blood pressure or any other condi3on under control. It is recommended to not consume caffeine (coffee, soda, energy drinks) or smoke cigare'es prior to your physical. If you had any medical surgeries or Work Comp Claims, auto accidents or general medical procedures within the last 7 years, be sure to bring medical releases sta(ng that you have no restric(ons. A4er some preliminary introduc(ons, you will be broken into groups for the ErgoMed (li5 and agility) test, DOT Physical, Pre-employment Drug Screen, Driver Applica/on Review, and Road Test. We recommend you dress comfortably yet, appropriate and have pa-ence with us and the process. 7 Orienta(on Packing Checklist 2 Forms of Government Issued Iden%fica%on Voided check or PRINTED informa6on from your Financial Ins6tu6on including account and rou$ng number (hand wri1en informa$on will not be accepted) Copies of all required medical releases Any prescrip+on medica+on, a 90 day supply is recommended as well as a copy of your prescrip'on. Eyeglasses or contacts an extra pair and copy of your prescrip1on are highly recommended. Clothing ensure you portray a professional image to our customers Sunglasses Toiletries a) Toothbrush and toothpaste b) Electric razor or disposable and shaving cream c) Shampoo d) Brush/Comb e) Deodorant f) Hand Lo(on Phone Charger Bedding for Bunk **Not all drivers will be seated in a truck in Greeley. Some drivers may be sent to other loca%ons for their truck assignment. Unfortunately, your recruiter will not be able to advise you on where exactly you will be seated as Opera.ons handles truck assignments. ***Drivers will be dispatched towards home as soon as possible to load up the truck with all personal belongings. Please only bring necessary items to orienta2on as again, baggage fees the airlines charge are the driver s responsibility and JBS Carriers will not reimburse for those.
