2 Product description GK Packing System GK-SPK with wedge seal, halogen free GK-SPR with pressure cavity system and GK-RM round penetration. The GK-SPK/SPR frames are welded or bolted to the steel or aluminium sections and filled with insert modules around cables/pipes/bundle pipes. The sleeves SLRM for GK-RM are welded or bolted into steel or aluminium sections and filled with GK-RM. The GK-RM is filled with insert modules around cables/pipes/bundle pipes. Empty transit openings (all SPK type except SPK-h) can be closed by blind steel covers of type BD, with approved insulation arrangements, not for watertight sections. Maximum outer diameter of pipes are 159 mm. Application/Limitation approved for steel bulkheads and decks: Approved for use as a cable/pipe penetration system in class A-0 to A-60 steel bulkheads and decks. For A-15 and A-30 the division shall be insulated as A-60 and at least 200 mm around the penetration. Exceptions are un-insulated transit for RM and SPK class A-0 bulkheads and decks. approved for Aluminium bulkheads & decks (SPK/SPR/RM) are fully insulated with approved A-60 insulation for all fire ratings. Roxtec sealing system may only be used in SPK frames. Mixing of types of insert blocks (GK Packing System and Roxtec) within one opening is not accepted.
