Post: Post-Doctoral Research Associate Organization: Washington State University, Prosser, WA 99350, USA Duration: May 2013 to May 2014 Design and manage field studies on runoff reduction in Center Pivots using booms on the outer spans of the Pivot laterals Manage field trials on reduction of water use in surface-drip-irrigated hops through deficit irrigation Design and manage trials that compare furrow and drip irrigation systems in mint production in terms of yield quantity, water use and water use efficiency Obtain crop coefficient (Kc) data on several crops including switch grass, mint and hops from water use studies conducted at the Washington State University s Prosser research station. Communicate technical information and research findings to stake holders including growers, project funders, and other interested scientists and researchers. 2.
