20 EGIDA Approach The EGIDA project will combine two complementary approaches a bottom up approach: EGIDA will contribute to the implementation of the GEOSS S&T Roadmap reaching out to existing projects and CoPs a top down approach: EGIDA will support and co ordinate with the GEO STC to draft a methodology to apply a Systems of Systems (re )engineering process to existing national systems and resources The methodology will be assessed by 4 significant use cases Hot spot pollution in the Mediterranean Mediterranean region pan European Air Quality for Health Slovenian region
