Wound Care Used in standard and advanced wound care applications, IV dressings and advanced first aid, our market-leading technologies include breathable films, foams and non-woven carriers, with a range of acrylate, synthetic rubber, hydrogel, hydrocolloid and skin friendly silicone adhesives. Surgical and Medical 3M s range of medical grade tapes and components are extensively used for medical device construction or attachment to the patient; for example in the manufacture of drapes, gowns and face shields, or to attach catheters, cannulae and tubes. 6 Fast, accurate performance 3M supplies tapes and films for the manufacture of microfluidic devices bioassay compatible adhesives, hydrophilic fluid transport technologies, electronic materials and custom microfluidic channels our ideas, products and expertise can be found in a wide range of in vitro diagnostic devices. Diagnostics Our diagnostic tape componentry and hydrophilic films are dimensionally stable and non-leaching, minimising chemical interference, and maximising the performance of lateral flow assays and test strips (including blood glucose test strips, whole blood test cards and other biosensors). Bioanalytical Designed specifically as seals and laminates for molecular diagnosis, our bioassay compatible tapes offer optically clear, chemically inert, non-fluorescing and non-tacky characteristics.
